Sure he won the west last year when Bama was having a down year. But LSU will be a perennial 3 to 4 loss team with maybe an occasional trip to the CFP under Kelly. He'll never really compete for a NC. He couldn't get it done at a storied program like ND with a much easier schedule so there's no way he'll get it done at LSU. LSU about to be in a&m territory with his massive guaranteed contract.

How is an occasional trip to the CFP not competing for a national title?

So bama being down was Bryce young’s fault for not getting it done and beating a bad coach in Brian Kelly.

Bama fans still concerned about LSU.

Who exactly are you trying to convince?

He won the west year 1 and LSU's last 3 coaches have won championships...

What are you on?

Brian Kelly is a good coach. He's just not a cultural fit in the land of swamp donkeys. But, if you think winning at ND is easier than winning at LSU, allow me to introduce to you Les Miles, and Ed Orgeron.

You think either of those clowns could take ND to the playoffs?

How do you begin to believe that? The SEC is top heavy and it’s been that way for awhile now. Let’s not pretend that the teams that were on his ND schedules wouldn’t beat or be on the same level as every SEC team not named Lsu ,Georgia , or Bama

Just waiting for $abear to give it up so Bammer can enter the coaching hire death spiral. Will be so entertaining.

Nothing better to do on a Sunday morning? Truly sad. Great use of your words though.

Just like last year. Sure he made it to the SEC championship game but he had as much chance at winning that game as Missouri had the two times they went. Being in a 12 team playoff and getting beat the first round isn't really competing for a NC just like getting in the NFL playoffs with an 8-8 record isn't really competing for a super bowl.

More than this. Yes, Bryce was not great last year but having Golding and BOB on the staff was a HUGE detriment to the Bama squad. 4th and 1, hey lets go 5 wide. Hey, let's play zone the whole game so receivers can just sit in the open slots and catch 10 yd passes all day.
Bama didn't challenge anybody on either side of the ball and make you earn it. I even heard the TV guys say last night that Golding plays way too much zone.
