Very meh. We lost some tough games, had a lot of key injuries, and showed just enough in some games to make the fans wonder what Arkansas could have done this year.

Really looking forward to what he can do there. I'm hoping it turns into another Franklin situation or better for yall.

I am happy because 8-4 was better than most predicted. I am down a bit because the way we played the last two weeks....we could have won against UF and Mizzou. Arkansas was about at their best when we played them...but late season Arkansas we would have run over

Shitty, but beating LSU helped. Not that the win itself really mattered in the grand scheme of things, but I think it showed the players that they're better than their 5-7 record indicates. We lost to AppSt by 3, Bama by 4, SCAR by 6, OM by 3, and Auburn by 3. Now, with Weigman at the helm, I'm feeling more positive about next year if Jimbo can keep the team together.

Extremely disappointed. This was to be one Saban’s best teams since arriving here. Bryce Young and Will Anderson both returning, veteran secondary, RB transfer with dynamic play making ability, etc. , but they underperformed all year, and a lot of it was coaching.

Now able to review the season having a level head and cooled responses, I feel differently than I did mid season. Mid season I stated this was the worse A&M team I’d seen fielded since I became a fan during the tail end of the Slocum era. I retract that statement, as we didn’t really suffer any blowout losses this year. Granted, there were many, but they were at least competitive games. Many of the franchione losses were just atrocious. Nothing this year was anywhere close to that bad.

Disappointing year, for sure. I personally didn’t expect a great year due to youth. Haynes king and max Johnson were worse than I anticipated they’d be. Connor Weigman appears to have a very high ceiling if he can remain healthy. It’s hard to be optimistic with so many underclassmen in the trenches, I don’t care who you are. Part of that falls on the coaches for being unable to foster an injury free (or at least injury reducing) training regiment and talent retention. 8&4 was going to be the ceiling I had hoped for, Aggie jokes not withstanding. Offensive line development, and talent retention will be primary levels of concern. Durkins defense isn’t what Elko was fielding, but it is adequate so long as the offense can be productive like they were last weekend

My thoughts would be:

Ecstatic:
LSU
UGA
TENN

Good:
SCAR
Vandy

Meh/Satisfied:
Bama
State
OM
Mizzouri

Disappointed:
UK
UF
Arky

Pissed:
Auburn

10 Feet of shite:
A&M

I predicted 6 or 7 wins for LSU this year.

My opinion now: LSU overachieved, which may be a good sign for coaching, even if the SEC West was down. LSU is undermanned, so it will take another year or two to bolster the roster to where it should be. I think the team has a lot of heart and fight, much more disciplined, the culture is no longer toxic, but they ran out of gas after the Alabama game - lack of depth caught up to them, especially on the defensive side (not being able to substitute enough over time causes issues, even if S&C is greatly improved).

I also think the QB play improved as the year went on until Arky. That's all I will say about that.

I really like what I see so far with BK, and the future looks bright for LSU.

Edit: goes without saying I believe GA will win the SECCG. I just hope LSU wins their bowl game after a long rest.

Great year overall. Looking at a top 10 season when we weren't ranked in preseason. Hendon getting hurt dampens it. The loss to South Carolina was awful, but credit to them.

If you had told me 10 and 2 before the season, breaking streaks to Florida and Bama, and winning like we did in Baton Rouge... hell yeah. Sign me up.

Bad. Very bad.

In a very down SEC West year we finished freaking 6-6. Would have loved to see a full year with Catalon and KJ healthy.

Honestly expected to lose 1 or 2 games due to everyone we lost so it's been a pleasant surprise.

Good except I wish we could be consistent. It’s true that Leach’s teams will drive you nuts.

Our D has really improved over this season. I really want us to win the bowl game. Seems to be an issue with Leach teams so Id like to get a solid win.

I predicted 11-1
We went 12-0
I thought that fl/tn/msst/KY/ stretch was going to be a murderers row but it fizzled out pretty hard by the time we got to it.

Happy,content, anxious and nervous

Happy that we went undefeated and won the SEC east.

Content that we are in the CFP regardless of what happens on Saturday.

Anxious and nervous about the rest of the games left.

Sums it up.

Honestly we expected to be middling to not good. But then things went really well for a while and you can’t help but get your hopes up. If you described this season to me at the beginning I would have been not surprised. If you asked me 7 weeks into the season I would have been disappointed.

Feel great. Before the season I guessed 7 wins. To win 9 with a win over Alabama and taking the SEC West crown is a home run for Year 1.
