d line wasn't crossed and most people wondered how LSU got into the NC game, not Alabama. But...

Oh how Bama forgot they went 1-1 vs LSU that year while LSU beat Bama's arse on their own home field in 2011. Whoops, forgot about that one.

This is the utter stupidity that we continue to see from certain L5U fans with fewer brain cells than a turnip. Only a complete fricktard would look at a 9-6 OT win as an arse whipping. Forget what Bama fans think. There isn't a fan base outside of L5U that would look at both games and conclude that L5U was the better team.

Dipshits like you are the gift that keeps on giving. And we're loving it.

Sucks that was the worst game of the year for LSU.

Biggest no-brainer comment of all time. It was their only bad game. 'Bama won and it's water under the bridge, however it is worth noting that under the current championship committee guidelines that type of mulligan is much less likely. They set much more store in conference championships than public perception which is why the Luckeyes and Hawkeyes were shut out of the good times this season.

9-6, beat your arse on your own home field that year. Deal with it. 1-1 vs LSU.

Like I said...the gift that keeps on giving. I think the OP has already demonstrated who it is that can't "deal with it". With every stroke on your keyboard, you help prove his point.

Still a better team losing to a lesser team.

I agree, referring to 9-6.

The saddest thing I've ever read... by MykTide

Looking back, the BCS had it right that year. The 2 best teams played for the national championship. The better team won.

That's your opinion, and all the rest of your state's.
FACT:
Actually, SEVEN "Human Poll and Coaches Poll" BCS Voters actually DROPPED Oklahoma State from 2nd or 3rd in all the polls to FIFTH OR SIXTH - """""""""""""""" A F T E R """""""""""""""" they destroyed former #1 Oklahoma by 5 touchdowns in the Big 12 Title Game.
FACT:
Oklahoma State's SOS was monumentally stronger than Alabama's. SOS was SUPPOSED to be a BCS criterium and BCS points calculator. Evidently not that year.
FACT:
Alabama, the third place SEC team who lost at home, was moved ahead of a Conference Champion with a much stronger SOS, whose only loss was on the road on a controversial FG that was called good.
FACT:
Nearly Year-long #1 LSU, who had outscored a schedule that included 4 Top 5 teams and 9 bowl teams to the tune of 500-123, was "rewarded" by having to travel to Atlanta to play Top 10 Georgia in the SECCG.
Oklahoma State, who had been ranked in several polls as #2 or #3 or #4, was "rewarded" by having to play former #1 Oklahoma to decided the Big 12 Title.

Meanwhile, third place SEC Alabama watched the games in their Skoal-stained drawers sipping moonshine from their couches, while their coach moaned and whined and complained that the BCS rules should be altered just for Bama just for this game.

No matter that Michigan did not get the same do-over mulligan vs Ohio State in the 2007 BCSNCG.

But, because it's Bama, it's Ok.

You know what?, go jump in a cesspool.

I definitely would love to see another team go through a season like LSU did in 2011. Getting fricked like that by the BCS and losing the NC to a team we already beat would leave any fanbase into a melt years after

Bama lost a game in 2 of our recent NC's. You guys need to learn how live with a loss. If you study what happened you might learn how to improve and not self implode over it.

Florida State vs Florida, sugar bowl, 1997 says hello.. FSU had defeated Florida, lost convincingly in the rematch for the NC.

My LSU friends who can't accept this, I recommend some serious counseling. The delusion is wide spread, and it isn't "Alabama talking about LSU," it is everyone in the entire SEC laughing about LSU fans continuing to bemoan, excuse, rationalize, 1-9-12 years and years later.

I follow LSU, like the team. But this is getting to be embarrassing... (no, it's been embarrassing for a long while now). So here is something to help come to terms with reality. Accept it - LSU was the second best team in CFB 2011 season, see picture of LSU "championship" ring to prove it.

The other 49 States and many foreign countries remember that game as the "50 yard line" game, the "it's a mauling folks, a mauling" game.. the "look at the Tide, rolling behind this defense" game.

Here are some more facts to help get in touch with reality.

LSU was 5-3 and finished fourth in the SEC west in 2015, and is barely in the top 25 in the country...

In 2014, LSU was 4-4 and finished 5th in the SECw. They were 5-3 and finished 3rd in SECw in 2013. These records and finishes are not first or second in the SECw, not barely missed the BCS playoffs. Accept it for your own sanity.

LF finished sixth... that comes after fifth... in the Heisman voting. The rest of the country does not see him as "the best" regardless of how folks in Louisiana (including me) view him.

Let it go for god's sake. I didn't start this line to humiliate the Tigers. Just to point out the level of psychological distress. Is it time to recognize this 1-9-12 as a new personality disorder syndrome?

LSU was agreeable for the rematch until they got beat and suddenly they now think that it was unfair.
Come on, any team would have beat LSU that night. I don't know what was wrong, but they were not ready to play in the championship, and we took advantage of that.

I know really. There whole lives revolve around us I guess.
That and tree poison, jumping on spectators in the stands, Home Depot, placing one's scrotum on another adult male in public and having real groupies cheering like it's actually normal, and Lafayette movie theatres.........
And Skoal.

Oh, and, Geaux Sparty......
