Best teams lose a game they shouldn't from time to time. If you watched college football you would understand this. See Ohio State vs Virginia Tech last year, LSU vs Kentucky and Arkansas in 2007.

How so? The SEC champ was 12-0 going into the game. The National champ was 11-1 going into the game.

Oklahoma State would have won 1/9/12 if given the chance against LSU.
Fact.

Since LSU failed to win the National Championship that year, it would appear it was much easier for them to win the SEC championship.

No, they weren't as good as Alabama in 2011.

Your hatred for anything crimson blinds you.

Except the best team won that game. I would've been surprised if we'd lost.

Anyone who understood Nutt knows that he lost and won games he shouldn't have. The only reason Arkansas entered that game with 4 losses was due to all the games he shouldn't have lost. Entering the game as an underdog with an unstoppable running game was all anyone needed to know that Arkansas would win.

It was money in the bank.

We won the game that should have mattered.

By your logic, we were better in 2012 and 2014 and shouldn't have lost either of those games.

Miracles to win both

Five in a row is not a fluke.

Five in a row is not cosmic injustice.

Five in a row is not Alabama bias.

Five in a row is just....

Five in a row.

Edit: ok, guys leave the upvotes where they are for now (5).

Let it go Steven. LSU had a really good season. That's all that matters.

Still a better team losing to a lesser team.

It did matter. Took LSU to the SEC championship game.

It just so happened that when the season ended, the 2nd best team in the nation was a team LSU had already beat (in a close overtime game).

So, instead of skipping over the 2nd best team and awarding the title game to the 3rd best team in the nation (one that had a terrible loss), the BCS did what it was designed to do. It placed the number 1 team vs the number 2 team.
