LSU is the single most important game to Saban. The results prove this. He and his teams are laser-focused for LSU. It's bizarre and freaky. No one can deny this.

Bama fans most important game is Auburn; Saban didn't succumb to that tradition because he knew he had to dominate LSU to dominate the league. And he has.

One more note. The domination didn't start in Jan 2012. It started in Nov 2012. Saban broke LSU's will that night. It hurts but it's true. Will LSU and O reverse the voodoo mind job Nov 9? We shall see.

Could be true the only good game since that night was the overtime game in 2014.

It started on 1/9/12. You're not fooling anyone.

Or maybe it is because Saban is the best recruiter and gets more good players and is because Bama has more talent and has been a better and more successful football team, but your theory is good too.

Ehh, Auburn has had something to say about who Bama has to go through to dominate this league.

Maybe Alabama has clearly been the better team for 7 of the past 8 games?

A lot was to do with LSU offense trying to out physical Bama defense, and having no passing game. It was not something that could be done on the Saban defenses from 2009-2018.

Inferior teams/rosters have won vs Saban, but they never tried to out physical them.

And deer antler spray.

It could be he treats it like any other tough game and he just happens to be a better coach and have a better team than LSU.

is because Les Miles was the worst qb recruiter ever. He compounded the issue with piss poor offenses and his buddy Cam Cameron.

O has finally brought us hope on offense. He acknowledged the problem and did something about it. Les let his ego get in the way.

Oh maybe he takes advantage of two weeks of preparation and game plans to put his players in the best possible situation.

Maybe he doesn't allow his players to run their mouth in the media giving other side more motivation.

Maybe he treats LSU with the respect they deserve as good program and play them hard.

Is it so weird we don't consider you guys rivals but also can give your program respect and our players take them seriously?

You realize Alabama has lot a grand total of 5 SEC games since the streak started, right? 2 to Ole Miss, 2 to Auburn, 1 to Texas A&M. That's it. In 7.5 years.

It's not like we're reeling off wins over LSU and struggling every where else.

And for 8 years we decided we could just run into The teeth of a perennially top 3 run defense.

No for 8 years you guys decided to become unbalanced in play calling, Instead of involving TE and getting the ball out quickly, LSU elected for 5 step drops and deep crossing pattern and throw it up style routes when you knew your Oline couldn't give you time.

In 2013 LSU had a good passing attack. It was even fairly effective against Alabama. You had a really good rushing attack too; probably the most balanced offense LSU has fielded.

The issue was that LSU couldn't run on Alabama.

It's not bizarre or freaky at all, year in and year out, LSU generally finishes the season as the Tide's highest ranked regular season opponent.

Since 2012, LSU is still top ten nationally in win%, #3 in the SEC behind Alabama and UGA. It's only smart for Saban to focus his attention on the biggest game in the regular season.
