re: Scheffler is on the same major championship pace as Tiger

With the exception of 2019 Masters, Tiger stopped winning majors at age 32. To me it feels like Scottie is just catching his stride. It feels different than Spieth, or Koepka, or Rory. Maybe he peters out, but I think he has more success into his 30’s than tiger did and tops out somewhere around 10 majors. Which is certainly incredible. Staying healthy is an obvious.
Let’s see how his next few years go. If he wins a couple more next season then I’d maybe say watch out Tiger. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has some longevity like Phil, who won all 6 of his after age 33.

Is Wardell a good fitter? Does he still do it at LT?
Noel is loaded from all the song writing
Ryan Grubb OC at UW….would he get UW job if Deboer leaves?
Posted by footwedge on 1/11/24 at 8:52 pm
He’s supposed to be a big cog in that UW offense. Basically Deboer has not really coached much without him.
They must be counting the DE as a LB when he stands up, which he does often. Otherwise it’s 4-2, just like manny Diaz, his mentor
Elko looks like he’s about the same age as fritz. Hard to believe he’s 46
Tough gig DC’ing for air raid coaches

UFs team composite ranking on 247 was 14 last year and 15 this year. They have players. FSU was 17 and now 20, for comparison.
They should not be a sub .500 program in the days of portal and free transfers and yet they are.

Gus is currently in his wheelhouse.
Love it. I’ve had the sldr mini and now the brnr. I hit it about 265-275 and very straight. I spin drivers too much and usually don’t get much more out of a driver.

re: So who replaces BoB at Bama?

Is saban really going to go crazy tempo and even more finesse? I have been assuming that he is switching it up so he could trend more back in the direction of his old power offense. God help his DC if he gets paired with a Lebby offense.

Cheaper than buying out Jimbo.

Saban will have to kick a ton of players off the team to fit the size class he wants to sign. He will not not take advantage of the no cap this year. Watch how many outward portals they will have.
Yes this show was outstanding start to finish
Voluntary Withdrawal I think is the term. If the departing players signs a Voluntary Withdrawal, supposedly his scholarship can be replaced. That is apparently part of how bama always seems to oversign.

Saban has loopholed cases like this, and has been able to take an additional player to replace a player that leaves in the spring.
did the weird defense he was running at army not translate in the ACC? I remember being intrigued by what he was doing, but it seemed specific to academy ball and the type of players they can get and also that they control clock every game. Im not even sure he had same scheme at UNC.

Vol got golftiger’d again
Kelly has to install his offense to an entirely new set of players with an almost entirely new coaching staff. Having a guy with tons of experience in his offense makes a bunch of sense. They’ll have to teach his system to the new staff as well.
Plus the Cincinnati offense has been humming under Denbrock.
