Given that it was a road game, UGA had a lot of guys out with injury (in particular the RBs), and the starting field position was significantly worse than alabama’s. . . the conclusion I take away from that game is they are a better team and by more than the score indicated.

Alabama plays bend don't break defense. We always give up more yards, it just doesn't translate to the scoreboard.

Georgia had the same amount of yards against Vandy, but had 38 points instead of 20.

It's tough to deal with as a fan, but holding Georgia to only 20 points was not a bad defensive game no matter what the yards were.

Georgia is the same strategy.

Bama fans know this because it was their complaint about Kirby for a decade.

We just do better in the green zone defensively.

I think your QB and WR just made some great plays on multiple 3rd downs. The Alabama defense wasn't bad, the guys were well covered and they were low % throws.

But they made the plays.

That's just the way it is. I was expecting a higher scoring game by both teams, but the hurricane pretty much ended that. Lots of rushing game planned for obvious reasons and the possessions were limited.

Totally agree

Bama was not prepared.

...and to be perfectly honest, UGA is better.

There were 4 bad calls/non calls but it shouldn't have come down to that. They played bad.

At the end of the day it was a great, as we’ve become used to with this rivalry.

Looking forward to our next meeting.

Ball hit the receiver's leg.
What a horseshite comment.

And don’t forget the INT they should not have over turned. Huge calls.

Just curious, how many points do you think those 4 points swung in the game?

The no call helmet pull off wound put Alabama 1st and 10 from what, the 20? Closer?

Did Alabama even score on that drive?

The INT being reversed is directly affecting points.

The non call PI affect any points? And the non called targeting?

I was lost in the sauce and can’t quite remember.

This argument from Georgia fans is legitimately interesting. Why do y’all keep saying this?

The Alabama offense has scored 24 points in the last two Georgia/Alabama games

24 points in the last 10 quarters, if you want to go back further than that.

Why don't you back 10 or 20 years? Oh, I know....lol

I dont know. Would it have been caught? Probably not.
But to deem "uncatchable" is dumb. It definitely was in the vicinity of catchable.

The irony is that the Bama defense did the exact same thing to UGA in Tuscaloosa in 2024. When the no call comes out, "that's good defense" is what the Bama fans say after UGA fans point out the obvious no call.

I've seen a lot more UGA fans say that it should have been callend in the last 12 hours than Bama fans in 2024.

Alabama isn’t well coached?

And neither of your statements is accurate.

They’re objectively wrong. The calls, right or wrong as called, objectively changed the scoreboard.

And you definitely want your team operating under that notion you mentioned, but even well coached teams CAN lose because of bs.
