You think that was our best?

We have found the disconnect with reality.

Be real. Neither team played their best.

They say that ignorance is bliss. But you are the exception. Ignorance makes you perpetually melt after every loss to UGA.

Georgia was missing our 1st and 2nd string X receivers.

And 1st and 2nd and 3rd string running backs.

The quicker you accept that UGA is the better team last night, the quicker you can legitimately move on.

We didn’t capitalize on opportunities like we should have and it was still a very close game we could have won. But we didn’t and have to take the lessons from this game and move on.
How Bama responds to the loss is what I want to see. Do we implode? Or get better?

UGA put the ball on the ground four times and recovered all four.

Bama got a pick early in the third that was overturned on the quickest review ever and I still haven’t seen any angle that shows whatever the replay officials decided was conclusive.

Non-PI means Bama at least ties if not goes up 4 points with 2-3 minutes left.

I don’t think any of those are even arguable points.

It is unpossible that Bama ever loses to the Dawgs. The refs cheated.

It isn't always the refs. Sometimes it is injuries or the turf.

YPC also favored Bama. Our OC went away from the running game too much.

The reason it was quick was because it was obvious the ball bounced violently because half of it hit the turf. I’ll give the PI was a bad no call but that wasn’t a pick.

Can’t have pass interference if ball isn’t catchable.

if they actually called that face mask, the targeting and the DPI

They would've all been negated by holding calls. Try again.

The facemask in particular is ridiculous, the play was blown up immediately by 2 UGA defenders and the facemask came off about 2 seconds after the ref should've blown his whistle.

We beat bama in every statistical category except penalties (we were penalized notably more). We hade 105 more total yards of offense. Thats pretty darn substantial.

Given that it was a road game, UGA had a lot of guys out with injury (in particular the RBs), and the starting field position was significantly worse than alabama’s. . . the conclusion I take away from that game is they are a better team and by more than the score indicated.

I'm sorry for your melt.

We played without multiple starting RBs & WRs. Our senior kicker missed a chip shot inside 40yds. Gunner threw several tipped fastballs that could've gone for 20+ yards with better touch on them. The muffed punt was the dumbest special teams play we've had in several years.

Tough to stomach has got to be having a confident, mobile QB (Kirby's kryptonite), getting away with holding all game, and still only managing 17 points.

So your argument seems to be that ripping a guys helmet off by the facemask after the whistle shouldn’t be called. Ok, neat.

They didn’t show the replay in the stadium and videos I’ve seen today don’t show any definitive evidence to overturn the call on the field of a pick.

Feel free to enlighten me though.

So it was a facemask DURING the play? What are you arguing here?

Most of that came on 2 plays that lead to a TD.

So it was substantial, but it wasn't the story of the game.

The real reason Bama lost…

Because UGA got it done when they needed to. It was a classic, badass game, no need for either side to diminish that with pointless bickering.
