The real deal about this game

Alabama could have easily won the LSU game by 10. Bama created more opportunities to win it than LSU and some very unusual things had to happen for [Alabama] to lose it. Those facts are widely acknowledged and the reason the voters set the rematch.
Turnovers have been LSUs weapon of choice this year. In the SECCG Georgia completely dominated LSU but turnovers and big game-changing special teams play turned the game around and disheartened UGA. The Tigers found a running game in the second half to pressure and fatigue UGAs D but it was their special teams play that devastated the dogs. UGAs lack of depth hastened their demise and they collapsed. It's impossible not to be impressed by LSUs scoring defense and special teams play this season. And therein lies the difference in the upcoming BCSNCG.
LSU's special teams play wasn't the difference in the Alabama game. Alabama's poor special teams play gave LSU the multiple breaks they needed to squeak out the W in OT. Alabama couldn't have played much worse on special teams. A little consistancy on special teams is all Bama needs to prevail and take home it's 14th NC. I can't see any way Alabama doesn't get that done.

You mean Bama's missed 50yd field goal attempts? The one that was blocked?
What about JJ missing Shep by a step on a pass that would have walked him into the end-zone untouched instead of falling on his back inside the 10? What about Randle dropping a sure TD pass?
