Alabama doesn't need luck to win this gamme - LSU does. All Alabama needs is a little consistancy on special teams.

You shouldn't be kicking 47 yard field goals with the defense you have.

Pin the opponent deep and go from there. Saban out-coached himself on November 5th.

That being said, LSU is a more complete team than Alabama. Offense, defense, and special teams. Does that mean LSU will win? Not at all. It will be pretty much a toss up, just like last time.

you are one stupid son of a bitch. Alabama couldn't move the ball inside the 30's. LSU could. LSU will win this game by 10+. DWI

No doubt. Another classic SEC tilt. With greater odds at stake.

We will definitely win this game because it's a home game for us, it's on turf so our players will be faster and your linebackers probably just as slow, the last game was at Bama and we played conservative and never really had to flex on y'all, all Bama does is handoff Trent, screen pass Trent, and TE drag, we will have your D worn out by the end of the 3rd instead of end of the 4th like last game. I really can't see anyway LSU loses this game, I didn't even mention our special teams. Have fun in New Orleans though and Merry Christmas brother.

I don't care why, I don't care if it's coaching, field goals, injuries, penalties, turnovers, WHATTHEfrickEVER. The NUMBER 1 team came into you're HOUSE and took that arse. Alabama LOST, SAY it out LOUD,!,

Nothing is going to SAVE you jan 9! No playoffs, espn, refs or anything else. You're 4 straight number ONE recruiting classes are going to get PUNKED again on NATIONAL tv for the second time this year on the biggest STAGE for A SECOND time by our hapless les MILES.

Alabama could have easily won the LSU game by 10. Bama created more opportunities to win it than LSU and some very unusual things had to happen for [Alabama] to lose it. Those facts are widely acknowledged and the reason the voters set the rematch.

Turnovers have been LSUs weapon of choice this year. In the SECCG Georgia completely dominated LSU but turnovers and big game-changing special teams play turned the game around and disheartened UGA. The Tigers found a running game in the second half to pressure and fatigue UGAs D but it was their special teams play that devastated the dogs. UGAs lack of depth hastened their demise and they collapsed. It's impossible not to be impressed by LSUs scoring defense and special teams play this season. And therein lies the difference in the upcoming BCSNCG.

LSU's special teams play wasn't the difference in the Alabama game. Alabama's poor special teams play gave LSU the multiple breaks they needed to squeak out the W in OT. Alabama couldn't have played much worse on special teams. A little consistancy on special teams is all Bama needs to prevail and take home it's 14th NC. I can't see any way Alabama doesn't get that done.

This is something that I've been thinking about.

A lot of the time an SEC team plays in the BCS title game against another conference, everyone always talks about how speed will be a big determining factor in the game. Well this year, although both teams are from the SEC, it's pretty evident who has the speed advantage. Plus, as you said, the game is on turf.

I think that's a very overlooked part of this match-up.

Good Gosh..talk about colored glasses

Do you want me to crank out one for LSU?

Alabama won the 1st QTR and after that LSU's defense was like a Boa constrictor on Alabama the rest of the game...You died slowly....and then with a quick strike, you were done!
