Everyone asking, "Would Alabama have won if Metchie and Williams were healthy?"
Unlike the Colt McCoy incident, where we'll never know, in this case we know EXACTLY what "would've" happened.
It just happened.
Alabama won 41-24, and the game really wasn't close at all. Alabama got up big, and stayed up big. There was no potential game-tying drive to end the game.
It was a blowout.
Would Georgia have beaten a fully healthy Alabama without Bowers and Pickens? Absolutely not. They probably lose by 40 or 50 points.
Alabama was the best team in the country this year. We just lost perhaps the 2 most essential players next to Bryce Young, right before the National Championship.
Alabama still beat the hell out of Georgia, and won the SEC 2 games ago, and last night did not diminish that.

Since the CFPC takes injuries into account, they should award a shared National Title.
Everyone already knows that if Alabama hadn't lost their 2 best offensive weapons right before the game, they would've won again.
They almost managed to win without them.
Alabama beat Georgia to win the SEC already. Last night's game, considering the injuries, was pretty much bullshite.

The Rant does not recognize SEC Championships or playoff victories. You either win the title or you don't. If you want to bask in other victories, this is not the place to seek validation.
