Are y'all really that upset for Zxavian Harris, who is hurt and fat, and Daquan Wright who will be at best TE2?
As an LSU fan, I don't think this was worth it for these guys (or any guys really), but the flip side of that is why do people give a shite so much? This can't happen in future years. It was a timing thing this year and those players were pretty screwed by the timing of the NCAA 5/5.
So one year of Harris and Wright potentially not even being impact players is worth kicking out LSU? A founding member and big revenue generator. Seems reactionary and short-sighted.
Because the players sued and won, the court order now basically states we HAVE to roster them or we're in contempt.
And what if we roster them because of the court order and don't play them?
I'm still convinced if Vanderbilt was doing this no one would give a shite close to this degree. The level of the firestorm in the media and amongst other programs is because it's LSU and Lane Kiffin.

After what Sankey said on the stand yesterday, the conversation should be about the SEC office smoothing things over with all of the members. He embarrassed the whole conference. He was all over the place with his answers.

Please, grow up and read the rulings. The SEC did this to themselves. Kiffin just asked the question. The rest of the coaches will now scramble to get players as will the rest of the leagues if they weren't already in place to move on them.
You can't watch a decision like Chambliss take place and not expect this. You also can't make a random decision on and 5 for5 and not expect this. What did they expect all those players to do? Gee I could have stayed if I didn't declare for the draft and get cut? What would you do? IF I had the weakest case in the world I world try it, what do I have to lose?
Sankey has been a terrible leader from the beginning.
The NCAA just proved once again they have no real authority because they are weak and leaderless.

The real way out is for the SEC to just admit that the timing of the 5/5 rule was idiotic and abide by court decisions to allow the high school class of 2022 their 5th year of eligibility and drop the BS lawsuit vs Lane and LSU. Then fire Sankey
The fact that Sankey os going after LSU over 2 guys who went to training camp but did nothing to Alabama for playing a guy who spent 3 years in a professional league shows a clear double standard and selective enforcement of rules.
And, while a little different, the SEC took no action against Ole Miss far having a starting QB who in still ineligible by NCAA and SEC standards but is still playing after winning in court.
Seems if the SEC took no action in those 2 instances, it is going to be hard to legally defend going after Lane and LSU.
Not even to mention the other half dozen or so players in the SEC from the 22 class that spent time in NFL minicamps that the SEC is ignoring.
