Same group of yahoos who backed a candidate for mayor who got caught with hookers. The same mayoral candidate whose son works for the BRFD Union. The same BRFD Union that was living of funding from the citizens of St. George and one of the reasons why they had to form their own city. Who is the dumpster fire?

He did that at LSU too, as well as the strength of of in-state teams.

All 40 people will ride it and the three states will spend millions to subsidize it.

About 7 guys who are disgruntled idiots doing BRFD and Together Baton Rouge Work are trying their best to disrupt the new City of St. George. They formed a union no one had heard about 4 years ago, gave garret graves an award and then went after Dustin Yates and then targeted a few council seats. They are the highest paid firefighters in Louisiana. Everyone in St. George loves the fire department and hates these idiots.

Anyone who thinks this is charging the dugout is mentally ill and needs help. Apparently they needed more tit time with their momma. Either that , or daddy got mad at them too many times for being a loser as a kid.

re: Green Energy Is an Economic Death Sentence (Heck, Spain's Grid Operator ADMITTED It)

It is truly unfortunate that the approach was never one of including all options for energy with a focus on R & D and aligning reality to the source and task.
Solar is great for lighting but shitty for real power - some day maybe. Not environmental friendly either -total lie.
Wind is a complete lie and incredibly hazardous to the environment - young leftists are dumb and easily cowed. They also do not believe the dessert burial grounds for all the solar and wind material because it hurts heir feelings.
Clean coal is good - has environmental issues but so do volcanos.
Oil and gas, same as coal but the power outage is far superior than any other green energy.
Hydro is good - people like fish over humans though and they have to be managed carefully. They are good in the right situation.
Nuclear - we were totally lied to about this with the lowest common denominator being spotlighted as the norm. Waste is an issue but not insurmountable and has improved by leaps and bounds since the intro of smaller nukes. The power outage is massive.
Aside from windmills, all of these should be part of the plan, but leftist are outright liars and charlatans.

Parents have made kids sports into a chore and completely hijacked the experience.
Exactly. We never had to leave our town to play a game against any number of teams. Very few parents showed up. We played a game and no one was there to get a scholarship. You did not have to dedicate yourself to a game at age 7 for fear of not making the junior college roster. You also did not see the same number of joint and bone injuries they are seeing now because kids were allowed to grow into their bodies before having a rigorous schedule of year round competitive sports that was normal for high school but not 3rd grade.
My daughters highschool teams has 5 major injuries. 3 are sports ending, back, hip and wrist. And every single player has had several injuries going back to elementary school all from sports. We did not let my daughter play full time sports until Junior High - she played some church league. She still made the team and has had no injuries related to playing sports. Most of the kids seem burnt out and ready to quit. The coach said he keeps losing juniors and other coaches are saying the same thing. He is now leaning away from travel ball kids because they are too fragile and less likely to be burned out. He says it is a recent thing in the last 7 or so years. These kids have been programed to think sports is their job.
re: AI answers the ultimate OT question: Can a 100 unarmed men defeat a gorilla in a fight?
Posted by winkchance on 4/29/25 at 10:09 am
The only way I see would be to get the gorilla to do something like charge someone or a group and at the last minute they scatter causing the gorilla to fall off a cliff.
That said a gorilla, being an animal, would never keep attacking. Injury to him is life threatening and seeing the numbers he would attack and retreat as he is not a human predator.
Humans would have to be threatening his young for him to go on an all out killing spree.
