It’s kind of odd speaking so disparagingly about the south when Cincinnati is just across the river from a southern state.

Just think about how clean and orderly Over the Rhine and Vine St and such would be if the South had won OP. Should've thought it through.

No wonder the south hates Ohio so much.
Numerous leading generals and army commanders hailed from Ohio. The General-in-Chief of the Union armies, Ulysses S. Grant, was born in Clermont County in 1822. Among the 19 major generals from Ohio were William T. Sherman, Philip H. Sheridan, Don Carlos Buell, Jacob D. Cox, George Crook, George Armstrong Custer, James A. Garfield, Irvin McDowell, James B. McPherson, William S. Rosecrans, and Alexander M. McCook (of the "Fighting McCook" family, which sent a number of generals into the service). The state would contribute 53 brigadier generals.[26]
Have to admit, that is pretty impressive.

Ohio has produced more presidents of the USA than any other state. Not sure how though.

I believe Ohio contributed the most soldiers of any state to the civil war as well. Irrelevant to football, but true.

I dont mind the smack talk. Its good for the board, but leave the divisive talk to a political board. Great Americans are not exclusive to any one part of the nation and all states have their pluses and negatives.
