Baylor and BYU have similar fans and both have a creepy vibe once you get past the smiling faces.

This is so friggin' true. One and only time I went to a Baylor/A&M game in Waco, I had Baylor fans screaming "ATHEIST! ATHEIST!" at me for wearing A&M colors. Walked into the stadium behind a father young son duo and the dad was telling the kid: "look at 'em, look at all the atheists in maroon. They're disgusting!"

100% truth.

They're just weird...

the entire Texas A&M University system has 26,000 employees. Walmart has 176,000 employees in Texas.

but we are wondering far afield with this tangent.

One set of employees if full time with benefits and the other is not. Also A&M hosts several state wide agencies as the land grant school in that state. Lot more than 26k employees.

Those numbers aren't accurate, fyi.

Arkansas' enrollment in Fayetteville is 30,936 Fall 2022.

UA enrollment

not a “flex“ of any sort. I just always assumed that the University of Oklahoma was larger than that.

I was also surprised to see that Oklahoma State has more students (22k) than the University of Oklahoma (21k).

OU is middle of the pack enrollment-wise.

Your numbers are just all way off. Not sure where you got the numbers you posted, but they aren't close to correct for most schools.

Some are just undergrad only numbers, some aren’t, OP could updated but they are only off like 3~4K

Utah fans are cool

BYU fans look nice - clean cut and all - but a facade for zombie like underneath

I forget that Ole Miss never had their big city med school be used as a pawn to legitimize local city interests and get spun off into its own university like UAB.

Kind of odd that the Chancellor of the Med School is a Mississippi State graduate.

They are actually a few years old, but I used them for two reasons. First, they were the numbers I found in the easiest format to cut/paste, and I didn't figure they (especially relative positions) had changed much in a few years.

Clearly, I underestimated the importance that some folks would place upon differences in the enrollment totals by a couple thousand students.

LSU has 33K enrolled at BR campus and 37.5K if you include med students.

We have kept it at about 50k for years, but this year we jumped to over 61k and I have no idea why.

Correct. Mississippi State has the largest main campus enrollment. The med school has both OM and State grads.
