1. We have witnessed the abrupt death of SEC dominance due to legal NIL 2. SEC “dominance” was rooted in paying players and giving them cars under the table to keep them from going north 3. SEC schools are going to be the ones crying for regulation because they’re actually poor

Well darn....if this guy said it, it must be true.....(insert sarcasm here).

They can take a breather for the moment. Go suck on a vape pen and then wait for reality to kick in.
SEC will continue to dominate the field based on the metrics available via recruiting rankings/ team talent evaluation/ NFL draft and then there is also football religion in the south. These players going up north will come back home.

The entire nation was tired of SEC dominance, so they're taking advantage of the opportunity to throw dirt on graves. No big deal. The SEC will be back. There is no other conference in the country that has such a high level of institutional committment to football from top to bottom that the SEC has.

Bingo, spot on take

Don't hold your breath. Money talks. Always has; always will.

Klatt, Mandell, Urban, and Nicole Auerbach have been working overtime to build up the Big Ten as the new standard.

Meh. It’s good for the sport to have good teams all over the country.
We don’t want college football going the way of college baseball. CB is too regionalized.
SEC will always dominate due to geography of players. Those players will want to stay in warmer climates while closer to family and friends. But it’s not terrible to throw the rest of the country a bone every now and then….

poor? 6 of the top 10 most valuable programs are in the SEC.

Pre NIL the fear of getting caught minimized the money difference between BAMA and schools like ND, OSU and USC etc. Post NIL it’s about money and those schools have more than everyone else.
It’s not about who was cheating in the past (they were cheating as much). It’s about who has the most to dole out. That is bad news for everyone in the P4 beyond a handful.

Value yes. Not the same as the biggest pockets and biggest donor pockets.

I will say one thing. The SEC has to become more national as opposed to regional. Just as the Big did.
They should add Florida St. Miami. North Carolina, Arizona, Arizona St, Virginia Tech, Tulane, and West Virginia.

SEC is 8-6 in bowls and B1G is 9-5.
If Texas wins and Notre Dame wins we could still end up doing better than the B1G
Now the 13 bowl bid ACC on the other hand….

You think the "national narrative " has been set because some idiot named MGo on twitter posted something?

Please post less. You are making the SEC fans look stupid

As if no one else does it - LOL - all the big programs paid under the table before NIL - this is some BS

It’s not limited to that one person. Local radio in Birmingham played the clips of Klatt and Urban. Klatt must’ve said four times “the SEC dominance is dead.”
Nationally the demise of the SEC is celebrated and the national narrative reflects that.

Plus when an SEC team wins the natty this year that's going to make all the "SEC is dead" talk really weird...

According to the metrics I provided its dominance is going nowhere.
Congrats on the aberration
