The powder blue was cool when they first tried it in a few games, but now that every tryhard douchebag in Vaught Hemingway wears a powder blue shirt to every game and almost every function they attend outside of OM sports......
The powder blue is now gay and the novelty has worn off.
This is how I feel as a Texas Rangers fan. The powdered blue throwback jersey/hat has been grossly overdone.

Teams who have no hope and future in football.

Texas Fight!
Prediction1: Pain
Prediction 2: This thread will age like an avocado in milk in a fridge whose power has been turned off.

With Will Howard throwing dimes to those WR's, especially megatron 2.0, its a foregone conclusion.
Serious response (not trolling, etc.) but I think actually Texas comes out and wins big.
And everyone is going to be wondering "dang, how did we get so hoodwinked" and then everyone will be kicking themselves for "should have known a tiger doesn't change it's stripes with Ryan Day and tOSU" and there will probably be some sour grape referre/conspiracy rumblings from little brother types.
I truly think Texas eats and wins by double digits. I'm putting my money and time where my mouth is at least and bringing the family to the game.

Heard that an Ohio State fan was considering opening up a Buc-Nut travel center to compete with Buc-ees.
Maybe Texas fans could practice sucking on OSU's Nut to see if it'll work.
I bet this really ate when you said it in your head and thought it should be posted.

Hartzell was a good president.
Always appreciated the swift approach to the terrorist sympathizing protesters to snuff that crap out and get the students refocused on the classroom and not acting like idiots.
He got a lot of flack for that, but in hindsight as Columbia and Harvard and Penn presidents were ran out of town on a rail for a loss of institutional control, he was vindicated.
And I was happy for him about that.
Good luck at SMU. It's a good school with good people and it's a great get for SMU as he will do well there and they will grow and thrive.
I hope the next guy we get is just as good as ole Hartzell.

The only thing we can be sure of is definitely not LSU/BK.
re: Do your job Texas

I don’t know about yall but I just dropped $1500 for a lower ticket because I think this game will be a blow out…..Texas by 14, at least!
I wouldn’t pay $1500 if I thought this game was even a coin flip. With the weather, etc. I’d watch it by my fire despite living 25 miles away.
But I’d like to say I went to a playoff game in the season we won the natty in our inaugural year in the SEC…

How about providing for your family and not milking your employer? You can bond from 5pm-8AM and on weekends.
My employer gave me 6 months off at 100% pay. They milked themselves, I guess?
re: The national narrative about SEC has been set

I will say one thing. The SEC has to become more national as opposed to regional. Just as the Big did.
They should add Florida St. Miami. North Carolina, Arizona, Arizona St, Virginia Tech, Tulane, and West Virginia.
You essentially want to cut a line of lattitude across the U.S. and make two conferences: North & South.
Then you can call them conferences.
Then within conferences you can have divisions.
Then within divisions, have winners who make the playoffs automatically.
Then you can have wildc.......
wait a minute, I think I've seen this movie before!

Plus when an SEC team wins the natty this year that's going to make all the "SEC is dead" talk really weird...

Really weird that the "SEC is dead" when an SEC team is going to win the National Championship.

I'm old enough to remember the 2011 Super Bowl and how the snow/ice was horrible for fans-- and ruined the odds of Dallas getting another Super Bowl for a long time!

Won't matter a lick when we beat tOSU in 4 days.
But by breaking your QB in half, you are sitting at home in the polar vortex without any football to watch this week haha.

re: Texas rate your season with a loss to OSU?

The funny thing if our season is an 85 out of a 100 so far, everyone else’s has to be a failing grade.

Yea he’s been a beast for a long time. Longevity and skills, I can’t even hate on the dude.

Beat ZERO ranked teams in the regular season. Almost shite the bed vs ASU. Took a miracle 4th down. In OT. LoL.
Especially rich coming from the team that needed the miracle 4th down play last year against a hapless Auburn to even (controversially, I might add) make the playoffs, and then this year missed them completely hahahhaha
