Bama cancelling on A&M because of weather. I remember it was a beautiful day in College Station that day.

It wasn't cancelled. It was played in December and Bama dominated them.

How about Alabama scheduling a 13th game on November 29th, 2003 - to close out their regular season - because they were under an NCAA bowl ban that season

I thought that was pretty clever. Good for Bama.

In 2003 teams played 12 regular season games. In 2003 Alabama was under a postseason Bowl ban and ineligible for postseason play. Alabama found a NCAA loophole at the time which allowed teams to schedule a 13th game to play @ Hawaii.( a game which Alabama happened to lose by the way) So instead of accepting their postseason ban they schedule a 13th game at Hawaii to end their season...wow... the program sure suffered from that postseason Bowl ban didn't they?

This is one of the better Auburn little brother melts I’ve seen on here. Imagine this pissing you off so much

Didn’t TAMU cancel a bowl appearance when the entire team came down with AIDS.

Then they failed to bowl a year later.

Pathetic.

You think I'm pissed off about Alabama adding a game to their schedule in 2003? Personally I thought it was bad optics by your school - but I couldn't care less

Good lord you Roll Tide Willie's sure think highly of yourselves...

Florida postponing a game against LSU because of a supposed hurricane, but allowing their women's volleyball team to play.

I watch video of the missed pop fly here daily and often, but that was one of the damndest things I’ve ever seen. No way that could have happened, no cotton picking way.

And it happened for us instead of against us which was even more miraculous.. it wasn’t some earth shattering win, but holy cow….i don’t remember if I cheered or laughed louder…it was ridiculous..

Wow what a melt 20+ years later. Of all the things to be pissed about. But you still never explained how that is gutless. If anything it took some brass cajones to give the NCAA the finger

Believe me - as I mentioned before, I couldn't care less....it was bad optics at the time, in my humble opinion

So it's a "melt" if I bring something up that occurred 21 years ago - in response to the OP who started a thread about something that occurred 25 years ago?
