Well he is from Arkansas so I'd say he's well above that states average.

OP who started a thread about something that occurred 25 years ago?

The OP is obviously suffering from the Hugh Freeze and the great Tubby syndrome. 2 of the best head coaches at Ole Miss have set up camp on the plains. Resentment always dies a hard death.

You were recruiting in Hawaii? You sure about that?

Florida postponing a game against LSU because of a supposed hurricane, but allowing their women's volleyball team to play.

I remember LSU fans being really pissed about this postponement. I remember thinking that and AD erring on the side of caution for player travel was the right thing and thinking LSU fans were just salty. I had no idea about the volleyball angle. That is some real bullshite.

I just think about the accumulation of flops during games, especially during the Malzahn rein.

It was pathetic and there were a lot of us who said the same.

Well, they did get Tua from Hawaii. But I doubt it had to do with playing a game there in 20 years ago

99% sure OP isn't actual an OM fan. That's why this stuff just rolls off his back.

"Hey Recruit, I know we are banned from a bowl, but we are at least playing the last game of the year in Hawaii. It's a nice place if you've never been."

In 2003 teams played 12 regular season games. In 2003 Alabama was under a postseason Bowl ban and ineligible for postseason play. Alabama found a NCAA loophole at the time which allowed teams to schedule a 13th game to play @ Hawaii.( a game which Alabama happened to lose by the way) So instead of accepting their postseason ban they schedule a 13th game at Hawaii to end their season...wow... the program sure suffered from that postseason Bowl ban didn't they?

Didn’t Auburn schedule a game in Mogadishu during the early Pat Dye years. If I remember correctly they were trying to sign a tackle or some such. They missed as he signed with UGA.

This is rich coming from a fan of a school who’s football gamedays looked indistinguishable from klan rallies up through the 1980s.

I’d say that’s worse.

I forgot about that game, I'm happy to see the Aub has the memory of an elephant.

This visit down memory lane, with Alabama telling those NCAA bastards to shove their post-season bowl ban right up their arse feels good with the coffee this morning.

Yeah I would ignore the Auburn hat as well if I were you.

But it does suck that Mississippi isn't able to keep racist Auburn fans from living there.
