But the facts are this: There is no evidence at this point that Auburn did anything wrong, that Cam Newton or anybody received a cent or that Cam Newton knew anything about his father’s shady dealings
The NCAA didnt have evidence on Reggie Bush when USC won their title. But they ended up getting it.

That's what makes it even better. Bammers Will do ANYTHING to say auburn isn't deserving of this title. When we win it, I'm just gonna sit back, spark up a fatty, and laugh.
Oh, the irony.

That shite wouldn't fly in a court of law dealing with solicitation for prostitution and of course you'll have those people who tell you this isn't a court of law and that may be the case but the way Slime is interpreting this ruling has everything to do with contract law.
Solid logic.

Don't try to blame this shite on Bammers.
You can blame Cecil and Cam for the national perception that Auburn football is a bunch of cheating sons of bitches.

It already started with Pat Dye did it not?

thats what is so damn funny- Cecil has been proven to be a liar and was indeed shown to have asked for money- but the WarEagleTigerPlainsmen act like it's everybody else's fault there is a problem with that

Hey did you see Hanks get his arse killed by McNeal? It was awesome!

quote:So, if someone (Cecil) solicited a prostitute (MSU booster) to sleep with their son (Cam), without their son's knowledge, but never paid the prostitute (no cash exchanged hands) and the son never had sex with the prostitute (Cam no go to MSU), but instead slept with a different chick (Cam to AU), the court of law would convict the son and the other chick for the father's solicitation of a prostitute with whom the son didn't hook up with. Good analogy.
That shite wouldn't fly in a court of law dealing with solicitation for prostitution

We can even assume the son had previously cheated on his wife (cheating on tests at FL) and had stolen a laptop (I think you can figure out this connection). We can also assume that the "different chick" was a complete slut who had taken money for sex with other people many years before (AU's previous violations).

Don't stop believin', brother.
And then, when in the end you don't get what you've been praying for, blame it on a vast blue-and-orange-wing conspiracy.
That way you'll never be disappointed.
Keep the faith.

The NCAA wasn't even looking at USC when Bush was playing for USC. It was about a week before the draft that Bush was in when the first reports came out that led NCAA to investigate.

You've got it backwards.
Cecil is the pimp. Cam is the whore.
If a pimp solicits his whore and no money is exchanged they both go down.

Chris Low is just upset because he was one of the ESPN guys to break this story, and he'll look like a dumbass if nothing come of it.

No he won't. The only reason espn cares if something comes of it or not is how big of a story they can make it to be to up their ratings.

Exactly- they have a head start in this case...It wont take 4 years to finish like it did with Bush...and they have FBI help...this will probably be done by next Oct-November

The best part of Low's article.
quote:
And this whole interpretation by the SEC of its own bylaw 14.01.3.2 sounds like a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo to me. Here’s the way it reads:
“If at any time before or after matriculation in a member institution a student-athlete or any member of his/her family receives or agrees to receive, directly or indirectly, any aid or assistance beyond or in addition to that permitted by the Bylaws of this Conference (except such aid or assistance as such student-athlete may receive from those persons on whom the student is naturally or legally dependent for support), such student-athlete shall be ineligible for competition in any intercollegiate sport within the Conference for the remainder of his/her college career.”
So why then is Cam Newton not ineligible, according to SEC bylaws? The SEC’s explanation is that there was no evidence that Cecil Newton ever agreed to receive money, only evidence that he solicited money.
Maybe it’s just me, but don’t you agree to receive money the minute you ask somebody for it?

Typical for Auburn supporters
Some chick walking down the street when Cecil jumps out of the shadows. "Hey, for $200 you can bang my son."
Chick - "Get bent"
Cecil - "You dont pay, and he's gonna sleep with that fat chick behind you."
Chick - "Get bent"
Cecil - "OK, but don't say I didn't try to warn you. Cam, hump her instead."
Cam - "OK daddy."
Cecil would still be arrested for solicitation (as well as Cam), if the chick agreed to testify to that fact. Oh BTW, she already did.

What I don't get is money was not involved, so if that is the case, why didn't Cam go to Moo St? That was his first choice and his dad told him he was going to Auburn.
