Yeah same. Strong Ron Swanson energy. All of my work is on a computer anyway, very stupid shite

The problem wasn’t playing him in his fifth game. The idiotic thing was playing him against Mississippi State, which was his fourth game. He came in against State with less than two minutes to go when Alabama could just fall on the ball and go home. The rent a win was the next week, and it made sense to give him experience then. But if you hold him out of the State game this isn’t a topic

This is about society. People who feel like they are at the bottom of the totem pole in life tend to pick teams that make them feel like they are at the top of the totem pole in a given area. Its an easy way to feel like a winner. It’s like a mental vacation.
yes I agree this is why so many people like Trump

Sorry, didn’t mean to disrupt the discourse. Won’t happen again

Fantastic post. Now that the President of the United States will be there, the LSU coach will want to embarrass Alabama. Also, love the disclaimer you included in the off chance he found the topic. You don’t want to come off as bossy, after all he probably knows best

Markakis just cannot come back even if he pays the team. Snit will never take him out. Hopefully Snit becomes Special Assistant to the GM or some shite.
I thought the Braves would trade Inciarte last year, maybe this time they'll find a match. He's a good player.
I really wish the Braves would have pulled the trigger on Michael Brantley. Money would have been better spent there instead of Melancon or even Kuechel imo. Especially if it would have given Soroka two starts in the series

re: Air resistance in the playoffs has shot up to the highest level since 2016, fewer HRs

a lot of people in this thread are misinterpreting this graph
this is measuring reduction of speed on fastballs, from when it leaves the pitcher's hand till it crosses home plate. Air resistance is up by a factor of 3. This hasn't happened in the playoffs in the past, and it's warmer this playoffs than it has been in years past
Intentional or not, the ball is different. In AAA (where they supposedly used the same balls as MLB all year) home run rates plummeted in August this year.
MLB manufactures the baseballs, Manfred should be fired. Not arguing that the ball cost the Braves the series, but Manfred has been a terrible commish his entire term

Saban is almost certainly a liberal. It’s not worth crying over.
We’re all humans and have our struggles in life. Dismissing half the population as looney because they think differently from you is a little backwards.
Try not to get all of your news from Facebook and Fox. Talk to a minority about their struggles. Learn someone else’s perspective.
I’m not going to read any more of this thread but you have said some truly crazy things in the last three posts

Stats don’t lie. People manipulate numbers to substantiate lies
An answer to your edit: no, and I don’t think completion percentage is how you determine who is a more accurate passer

But by rule you must have a hangover lineup. (It will be a normal day off for Acuña since he’s 20 of course.)
And it’s on Sunday so it’s too perfect.

What do you guys think the Sunday lineup will be? I’m guessing this
Adams 8
Flaherty 4
Markakis 9
Culberson 6
Duvall 3
Tucker 7
Ruiz 5
Rivera 2

Sexton sat out of the Tide’s exhibition game against UAH on Monday after failing to have his eligibility reinstated by the NCAA, the university announced. That issue has apparently been resolved and Alabama will only be without its star signee for one game.
The Sexton family reportedly had to pay restitution for a meal Sexton’s father received from a former Alabama employee, according to a recent report from The Tuscaloosa News.
