It's Wednesday of game week yet I sense absolutely zero hatred. Yes neither of us are very good and are likely headed toward mediocre finishes. Yes LSU is 9-3 in the last 12 ( 
). Yes Florida just lost to 2 of the worst LSU teams of the Millennium while being ranked. But for fricks sake this is one of the best games year in and year out in the SEC.

We are both in the first year of a total rebuild and culture change. Neither team is good, neither is horrible. Both teams lack depth

They are our 4th longest SEC rivalry and only 1 game ahead of Arkansas. They are easily the least hated in my mind, but one of the games I always look forward to. Great games over the years.
ETA: Of all the SEC yearly rivalries I have a Hate or Don't Hate standard applied to the games.

This is usually my favorite week to have fun talking smack with LSU fans. However I am in the hospital trying to get right (gallbladder surgery) so I am a little off my game.
I was pretty impressed and envious of the high quality of banter last week between Tennessee and LSU.
I think both team’s lackluster performances this past weekend may have tempered the enthusiasm.
