Alabama fans are massive hypocrites generally.

Not when it comes to this sort of thing. We don't pretend to hold the higher ground

When was the last time LSU (or any SEC fanbase) as a whole shut up about anything?

I count 6 threads on the first page right now trolling LSU and/or Lane. All y'all do is come here to start shite and then act indignant when LSU fans have the audacity to respond.

Alabama State Representative Will Dismukes (R-Prattville) faced intense criticism and calls to resign in July 2020 for attending and speaking at a birthday celebration for Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate Army general and the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

More fun facts about the University of Alabama:

Memorial Removals: In 2020, following student-led petitions and national civil rights movements, the Board of Trustees voted to remove multiple Confederate plaques from the central Quad.

Building Renaming: The university's Board of Trustees also authorized the renaming of Morgan Hall—which was originally named after John Tyler Morgan, a Confederate general and Ku Klux Klan leader. It was subsequently renamed English Hall in an effort to distance the campus from Confederate ties.
