Maybe not personally, but he certainly must have someone on the payroll scanning tRant for ideas.

Well probably so, maybe a graduate assistant, but I don't think this site is quite as important as you think.

Hey - If the Computer doesn't spit out Bama after LSU fought it out on the field last year would have been for 3 in a row lSU over Bama.

You guys act like its such a gap. Its 1 stop and one insane rematch bullcrap.

Plus the HUGE Tennessee Rivalry. Its Really Big.

Puts Saban just behind Miles and Sumlin.

Well, with all the threads being started about what Saban should do and insights into how he thinks, what he wants, what he dreams about...

How could he pass up on what, by all rights, must be akin to having a personal oracle?

I mean, tRant is like Pythia in purple and gold robes.

John Wooden is the greatest coach in American sports history and there isn't a close second.

Pro: I would say Lombardie. He basically made Green Bay's winning tradition out of nothing.

College: A lot harder to answer. How are we quantifying this? Best flat out coach, or best recruiter who gets the most out of his superior athletes?

Tressell was pretty good at Youngstown State and then Ohio State, but we all saw how that turned out. Saban obviously gets great athletes and coaches them up very well.

It's almost an impossible question to answer. Plenty of coaches win 8-10 games a year just because they have superior athletes. Plenty of coaches also go under the radar doing a great coaching job with inferior athletes just competing with the big boys and losing by 14+, so no one thinks anything of it.

I guess if I HAD to give an answer IMHO of the greatest college football coach of all time, I would have to say Bobby Bowden.

people get a rush out of certain things. after awhile, that rush wears off and you need something new to get that rush. like a girlfriend, who is the baddest chick on campus. no matter how bad, eventually ur gonna get tired of her and flirt with the new chick who is just as bad.
