Scouts don't know much more than people that know ALOT about football. I have been ahead of the pros many times.
Ridley was an example. Many teams were not convinced on break away and other combine intangibles.
I spoke to his agent about his pick with the Pats and said 1000 yds in the sec, between tackles, huckig and jivinging - plus the wide open - that is your man.

You go on pure stats when one guy sets the all time record vs. the Univerity of Alabama on O. 98 yds. rushing, 465 passing 5 tds .

Its strange - I watch the NFL now like I watch A&M game. I see pockets in every damn game and im like JFF would take that 16 past the flag ob 1st.

Manziels stats are so far ahead of everyone's stats ever they wont even tell you. For the love of god he sat out half of a game, then sat out the back half of a game. Dropped the most ever against the tide in its history.
