I spent the majority of my time in undergrad in that building. My first job out of college was in the basement.
Objectively, it's an ugly building.
I cut through it most days from the Colonial Life parking lots to get to main campus. It always provided a brief, but nice place of warmth when it was cold and a place of A/C when it was hot.

I forgot about the Byrnes Building. I've only been in there once, equally terrible on the inside.
I think it houses our study abroad program too and hosts all the visitors.. which I've always thought "what kind of impression are we giving to foreign nationals by always making them go to this shite"

Bamas presidential village is dope. That whole campus is an awesome place

That would be cool, but I would rather have crappier frat owned houses than have the school build cookie cutter houses that they owned. It helps give the frats some leverage when jonathon sanders goes on his annual witch hunt.
LSU IFC blows so hard right now. Greek life is so tame.

This is embarrassing and should be torn down. What is this, a video board for ants? The video board should be....at least 3 times bigger.

Mizzou's Lathrop Hall - aweful.

Coker and Byrnes are both HIDEOUS buildings... but like GarnetWay said, I have fond memories of cutting through Coker for 5 minutes of warmth or AC..
Byrnes is on the demolition list. The building is being torn down and USC will soon build a welcome center there. I think Coker stays, for now.
My biggest concern is the coliseum. I understand the school is really attached to the building but something has to be done.. Especially now that new buildings are literally popping up all around it.
I think a major renovation for the coliseum comes once all of the school's move out of the basement.. The j-school just moved into the renovated old Public Health building on the 'Shoe (nice job there).. which leaves the school of HRSM (Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management) as the only school still in the coliseum and they are moving into the old law school building after it gets renovated.
When all is said and done, I'm sure that's when a major renovation for the coliseum will happen. It'll probably become some kind of joint basketball practice/future additional sport (hopefully gymnastics) facility.
In the end, we'll still have Coker to save the life of some poor freshmen making the uphill hike from west campus to central campus..

I think what LSU needs to is move U-High
THIS
U-High is in the way and should be moved to the outskirts of campus to allow LSU to grow. The giant field on the corner of River Road and Brightside would be a great place for U-High.

I thought Bishop is okay on the inside.
Crosby Hall has to go. Hume needs to go. What's the Geology building called again?
The twin towers are also pretty bad but I believe they were renovating them.

Yocum and Hump Dump are by far the worst dorms. The only decent thing about them is you get a killer view right atop the hill.
HPER building is arguably pretty ugly too.
As for Strocum and Hump Dump, they're tearing them down really soon for the new age crap that every campus now has but they have a lot of history, a ton of barf and lots of shite stains. Hump Dump didn't have AC my freshman year in 2006 LMAO. But you could stumble down to the SAE and Phi Delt houses super easily and also escape when it was lineup time.

If you didn't go to Auburn, you probably don't understand how accurate this is.

I just walked by there one day my freshman year and noticed it. Also didn't know that Tuscaloosa used to be spelled with a "K", so Tuskaloosa.

Edit: I googled and found out it was built in 1961.

Agreed, from the north side it's not so hideous:

Also someone said turlington. That building's claim to fame is that it was designed by UF architecture students IIRC. I guess UF can't be good at everything

You really should petition for a restoration of the pool. There are ways of getting around liability (closed access, set hours, waivers, and/or a lifegaurd on duty during the regular hours etc.) if that's their main concern. Even the ruins look more fun to hang out in than the re-imagined area they have planned (that's pretty and all but nothing as unique as the earlier photos).

The Hammond Building.... probably one of the longest buildings in the world. It was supposed to be many different buildings but Penn State decided it would be best to make it a giant, Soviet-era dump. Unfortunately, it's located right in the most beautiful part of campus. Right next to the Allen Street Gates

Runner-up: East Residence Halls, but I think every campus has dorms that they're ashamed of
