Trying not to add to pissin match going on in this thread. But bad planning by SEC putting a game in Austin on F1 weekend. They had 440,000 attend race last year, so yes, hotels, along with everything will be challenging.

I'm liking the assumption by Vols fans that Georgia's OL won't be very good this coming season.

will admit Austin was cooler back in the 90's and most of that laid back Bohemian vibe is gone now, but it's still a great city to visit.

Imagine being proud of having a 3,000 LB mascot that can trample someone's 60 LB mascot.

Florida fans want to talk about Bowl games? Really?

Beto is so full of tranquilizers on game day that he can handle a crowd of 100,000 and a cannon being fired multiple times during a game. Not sure what UGA did to cause Bevo’s reaction. It seemed to carry over to the Sugar Bowl game.

I’m really looking forward to playing Georgia, especially in Athens in the future. Texas has never played in Athens but Georgia has been to Austin once.

Out of the five meetings between the two programs, three were bowl games, and the two non conference games were played in Austin and Atlanta.

Texas holds a 4-1 record. The one loss being the soul crushing Cotton Bowl loss that cost us a MNC in ‘84. Not going to lie… That one still hurts…

This entire thread is way, way too early to have any significance. We haven't even had spring ball yet. The media will have their faves in pre-season, even though July is a long way off.

As for Texas and Oklahoma entering the SEC, this much has already been established: Oklahoma has maybe the toughest of all SEC schedules; while Texas has among the easiest.

Huge unknowns: how Alabama will perform with a new HC; how UGA will perform with a much tougher schedule than recently; how Ole Miss and LSU will perform with established coaches and high expectations.

Georgia v. Texas line? At least wait until the season starts.

PETA needs to take a look at Texas if it’s true y’all are tranquillizing this poor animal. Much better use of their time than questioning UGA about the most pampered and loved dog in the country. We all should have a life as good as UGAs.
Poor Bevo. It’s beyond cruel to have to sedate a non domesticated animal only to bring him into a stadium with all the noise and activity. And obviously the tranquilizers don’t always work. Next time he could kill someone. Then after all the soul searching and finger pointing poor Bevo would be destroyed. All for something he should not be blamed for doing. It’s not his fault Texas is stupid.

If Bevo is like most Texans it was probably something that any normal ribeye on hoofs would take in stride but Texans are like gang members….all they have in life is an inflated self image and anytime anything or anyone bruises their uber fragile ego they become violent and show their arse.
