Pretty sure it was one or more of the media types that suggested it would be cool to get a pic of UGA in front of Bevo. What they got instead is a video clip that will live waaay beyond any pic. They got what they wanted and then some...and one dude almost got a permanent reminder of the occasion.

Was my impression, too. It was dumb. Leave the animals alone and film and take pics from a distance. They need to quit crowding the animals. It wasn't either mascots fault. They have no way of knowing what exactly is going on. Shoot, human celebrities that understand paparazzi and what is happening have struck out at media types....why wouldn't animals that have no way of knowing?

Our UGAs have shown no sign of having problems breathing. Guess if you had your way all bulldogs would be destroyed since they MIGHT have health issues.

No, nut there is no doubt that the inbreeding of the dogs have taken a toll on their health. There is nothing wrong with admitting that. The lifespan is short for the dogs. I know they are treated very well, and kudos for that. But they are not a healthy breed anymore.

This is what they should look like:

I love Uga, but the inbreeding has hurt their health.

Here are pics of Uga from years ago. Look at the difference in waistline, etc.

Again. Love Uga, but they need to concentrate more on getting the breed healthy and less on getting a pure white coat. Just my opinion.

how many Georgia fans can afford to

Lol. Puppy piss compared to the amount of money spent by Georgia fans over the last 7 years to absolutely dominate attendance at stadiums all over the country. Remember Georgia is not a poverty state like the rest of the southeast.

Georgia fans are loyal. They pack Sanford Stadium and travel to distant stadiums and paint them red.
It’s very expensive to have season tickets in Athens and travel to away games. We have spent a fortune over the years but I’d do it all again.
When and where ever my Dawgs are playing we are there. And there are thousands of other Dawgs with us.
It was once said Georgia could be playing the NE South Dakota State school for the Blind in a KMart parking lot and 90,000 would show up to watch. I don’t doubt that

From all the reports that came out after that game I’d be very surprised if it didn’t happen. Just like your fans don’t get all bent out of shape when someone does the horns down. ( We have eyes and there are plenty of videos out there). Your denials are weak.
Georgia will be fine no matter what stunt Texas tries. We have our own AC and our dressing room will be plenty cool

I really hope ya'll spend a small fortune transporting portable ac units halfway across the country based on a bullshite rumor. I look forward to it lol

Georgia has huge semis that transport our equipment. The ACs won’t be a problem. There’s plenty of room.
Georgia takes ACs to opponents stadiums early in the season. Better safe than sorry. The ACs actually got tv coverage when Georgia was visiting an opponent. It’s been a while and I’m not positive but it might have been SC. It’s hotter then hell there in September and October.
