I'm puzzled how a long snapper got drafted in a 7rd only draft, but a big, sure handed reciever/TE like T. Miss goes undrafted. LSU had a super draft and really should have gotten 15 as M. Miller B/R predicted. Great draft guys!
Good luck and I hope everybody gets to play this year. Still, a great day and the SEC ruled the draft! LSU congrats!

Bama might would of had a push if few jrs hadn't decided to come back and play another year. But, I'm glad they did!

A long snapper gets drafted once every few years. Most of them stay with a team for a long time. They dont get injured so you rarely see turnover.

Moss apparently had foot issues that weren’t able to get properly diagnosed during CV19 which i read somewhere was the reason for his slide. Now both feet have issues apparently.

And indeed, great and fun season all around. Some did great but there is much to build on for all teams. Good luck next year Gumps

Moss got red flagged at combine physical, got hit foot worked on again, issue that held him out all of 2018.

A long snapper has been drafted every year since 2015. Ferguson was the top long snapper on the board, worked out at combine.

Ferguson comes from a family of long snappers & if not mistaken, has one brother in the league now. Including himself, 3 played for LSU.

Best I can guess on Moss is he got passed on a medical issue. He missed all of 2018 with a broken bone in his foot and had more than one surgery I believe back then. At his precombine physical another broken bone was found in his foot but the story was "not to worry." The good news for him is he as a lot of connections.

I just posted in another thread that I was surprised Lawrence Cager was a UDFA. I can only surmise he was a medical pass at this time.

Moss has injury concerns to go with only one year of production.

He has had issues with broken bones in both feet.

I thought at best Moss would go in 6th round, but a lot of TE’s got taken, and he has a few issues.

I'm puzzled

@ a1abama every year with their FG kicking issues. I mean damn... I'd little nicky always gonna send the his potential kickers a Hyundai while other recruits get Chargers?

I guess they really wanted THAT long snapper. Maybe they didn't have anybody at that pick graded above him.

As for Moss, he has a foot injury that no teams were able to ask him about due to COVID. Even healthy, his future may be in a niche role.

Bama would definitely have a shot at this record. It’s crazy how Saban gets these juniors to come back when they projected to go 3rd round or better. He’s been doing since he got there

Fans ignore the long snappers, but that's a singular position that plays a huge role in wins. You get one, you keep him as long as you can.

Ferguson might have a longer career than most of the guys taken in the first 3 rounds.

He’s not that big, had foot injuries, and isn’t exactly a burner. But i, too am shocked he wasn’t drafted.

bama already projecting 7 first round picks in next draft
