It just shows that Jesus was not impressed with the charity of the rich and would not be of today.
He praised the poor widow because she didn't have to do it but did it anyway for a cause greater than her.
Just because someone is rich and gives more to charitable causes doesn't mean they are of a superior being than you are.

Nothing was misrepresented here.

But people continue to pass judgment on the poor while continuing to praise the rich is absurd.

She didn't hoard her wealth. She helped children, medical research, disaster victims and employed family and Tennessean's. I never saw her buying extravagant crap or being wasteful with her wealth. She never claimed to be better than others.

Dolly Parton spent a great deal of her energy helping other people. As a talented public figure, she was the opposite of divisive.

In this cold world, there are givers and takers. The givers are vastly outnumbered. Dolly stood out as one of the most gracious givers to walk this earth. How incredible it must have been to have this kind of financial success in life, and she got to spend her life giving it to those in need. You know, a "more happiness in giving" kind of feeling.
