I was once at a restaurant with my parents and Valerie Bertinelli's party was at the table next to us. She was probably 16 or 17 years-old. I remember thinking that little Valerie had grown up. I mean the girl was a complete smoke show. I think she still looks pretty good even with the extra pounds.

Are you trying to suggest that it's okay if it was a young girl?
Of course not you imbecile. I am saying that the sexual orientation of the abusers was the driving force behind it all.

How many priests have you heard of who were accused of molesting young girls?

Can you elaborate. I am truly interested in knowing more about this. Thanks.

Am I the only one who thinks we should take a "wait and see" attitude? Maybe a lawyer can chime in but from what I have seen posted this is not nearly as bad as it could have been in terms of sex crimes.
Children are absolutely capable of lying about sexual abuse especially when coached by an adult. Google "McMartin Preschool case" if you don't believe me. It was the longest and most expensive prosecution in the history of the United States and led to exactly zero convictions.
I think the priest should have his day in court before people jump to conclusions.

But the violence actually started when a pro slavery guy named Franklin Coleman shot a free stater named Charles Dow outside of Lawrence.
Perhaps the abolitionists should have stayed up north where they belong instead of flooding into Kansas to alter the political landscape. The very town of Lawrence, Kansas, was named for Lawrence, Massachusetts. Jesse and Frank James...the Younger Brothers...Bill Anderson...Archie Clements...all great Americans.

There is nothing sexy or appealing about a chunky fat arse.
re: For those of you who live or have lived in Chicago, what's so great about it?
Posted by Missouri Waltz on 1/19/26 at 1:03 pm to StringedInstruments
Great museums and food. All the bad restaurants close. Other than that just a typical big city with awful winter weather. It is fun to visit in the summer but I would not want to live there.
re: The country would be way better off if we followed Malcom X instead of MLK

MLK was a Marxist, atheist, plagiarist, and sexual pervert. Why most people fail to recognize that escapes me.

That is about as exciting as synchronized swimming.

Ole Miss claims a few like Bama, but has never won a national championship that was awarded by the AP of Coaches' Poll.

Not true.
Mauck was offered a scholarship by Nick Saban at Michigan State. When he chose baseball instead Saban told him that if it did not work out he would still had a place for him.
When Mauck left baseball he contacted Saban who was by then at LSU. Saban kept his word and offered Mauck a scholarship. The rest is history.

Ever know anyone who did time in a Federal prison? I've known three. All for financial fraud.

Lane Kiffin - Tennessee, Ole Miss, and LSU.
Bear Bryant - Texas A&M and Alabama.
Dennis Franchione - Alabama and Texas A&M.
Tommy Tuberville - Ole Miss and Auburn.
Hugh Freeze - Ole Miss and Auburn.

Not my state but you can reach every state that Arkansas borders by travelling due south.
