Are you crazy? Dumbo cake walks through a weak as water ACC every year and has no rival. (we aint shite). He is guaranteed a final 4 every year. Bama would bring pressure and an SEC west schedule.

Yeah I agree all I’m saying is the guy is wanted here and bama will do everything In their power to get him after saban should be Interesting when it all goes down.

Ps I don’t think he will take the job at bama

Dabo’s not coming to the SEC when he is a god at Clemson and he gets a free pass to playoffs every year.

Book that shite.

Book it? Hell, I'll bet money against it. Alabama fans seem to think he's unworthy of the job. I've never understood that considering what he's accomplished at Clemson, but Bammers don't want him.

Let that sink in for a second... a Gene Stallings-trained coach who's won two national titles, and "he just doesn't have what it takes".

If Clemson wins the title this year they will basically be Alabama and the expectations will be the same at both programs. So I don’t think Dabo will look at it that way when the time comes.

Only the biggest bammers of all time would talk shite about Dabo saying they didn’t want him

The last 12 years have been glorious and maybe not duplicable BUT Saban won’t last past maybe two more years I’m guessing and if he manages to win a Nc next year, depending on who we return and if we get a competent DC that is, he would likely retire then on top is my guess

Very poor fit. Won't happen. We don't want him, but we wish him well.

Yeah right, you liars would be happy as shite to get Dabo once Saban goes on to that lake in East Georgia.

Dabo ain't going to touch that job. The only chance I see that happening is if he replaces the guy who replaced Saban but he is not going to follow right after him

As awesome as this would be as an Alabama fans, you're absolutely correct.

Frankly, Dabo would be foolish to leave what he's built at Clemson for the impossibly thankless task of immediately following Saban. He has an almost guaranteed cakewalk schedule every year at Clemson instead of having to play LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, and most years either a solid Ole Miss or Mississippi State team every single year. No brainer.

I do think it's highly likely (barring some unforeseen event) that he ends up as Bama's head coach after Saban's replacement though. The job he's done at Clemson guarantees that the job is his when it comes open if or when he wants it.

A lot of you keep saying he has this cakewalk schedule that guarantees him a playoff spot and that is just head up Finebaum’s arse level homerism.

The ACC had one of the best years ever for a conference in 2016 when Dabo won his first title and dominated the SEC that year. The conference has more bowl teams than anybody the last 3-4 years and is dead even with the SEC head to head in the CFP era.

Completely understand. The one thing that would encourage me as a Clemson fan is that he has such a good thing going and such an advantageous setup right now at Clemson that the Bama job UNDER IDEAL CIRCUMSTANCES is the only job he would leave Clemson for in my humble opinion.

Fortunately for Clemson fans, following immediately after Saban as head coach simply isn't ideal plus I think Saban still has 2 or 3 more seasons left in him. I think y'all hang on to him for at least another 5 or 6 years.
