Yep. DVH choked there. Why not walk their most dangerous hitter to put a force play at every base when the winning run is already on 2nd base? No reason to let that guy hit.

Going to 3rd to get easy out versus turning 2nd was a big play also. Plenty of time to turn 2 versus go with easy out at 3rd. Wow. Baseball full of could of would of.

You're right. He preps his players to make regular arse plays in big games like no other. Kinds like my car having issues if I never change the oil, don't check tires and put diesel in my gas burner.
Great coaches coach great players to do great things.
DVH is not a great coach.
