And you half brains here will disagree, Notre Dame should have been in the playoff this year. They would have had a better showing than at least three of these teams.
Miami has been legit, Bama legit, Oregon legit, Ole Miss legit so far.

They gave Oregon 2 easy wins . Half of the SEC would beat Oregon’s 2 weak opponents.

You’re looking at it backwards. The committee exists to put these garbage teams in for DEInand ratings . If the correct teams were put in you would have 10 SEC teams and espn/abc can’t have that .

Yeah, but they’re not supposed to put them as the #1 seed with a BYE. Also, if there’s ever a shutout in a playoff game the entire committee should be fired.
It’s hard to overstate how embarrassing this is for the Committee.
