These dumb motherfrickers REFUSE to use SoS as a primary measure in the rankings. This makes 5 of 6 quarterfinal games where the FAVORITE GOING INTO THE GAME is a lower seed. These teams with these cake schedules immediately get exposed time and time again. IU last year. OSU last night. ND every fricking year. I could go on. This is getting old.

They have no shame. It really needs the old bcs computers back.

Finally, someone has the balls to stand up and say it, "Put ME on the playoff committee!" because we all know even your below average Rant poster knows more than any of them that are on it.

They can't control as much if they use the true SOS.

There simply aren't more than 4 good teams in CFB a year. This is why we have these playoff games so we can find them.

Sagarin has TTU's SOS at #66. Indiana's is #41.

And they’re the fricking 4 seed and 1 seed, respectively?!?!?

It’s fricking madness. And the dumbass media will blame the bye weeks.

It's just a piece of software. You don't need to bring back those old computers... They're probably too slow by today's standards.

The team who’s wins had a combined record of 18-46?

It was never about getting the best teams in.

If they expand it the DEI teams will still knock out two better teams.

I’m, personally, not advocating for them to revert to the BCS…it’s flawed, too.

I am advocating for this committee to actually watch games and consider that it’s possible, though remotely, that some of these teams are running up their stats against dogshit competition.

Can't use the BCS computer, that would be racist!

We must have diversity, equity and inclusion.

I mean sure JMU and Tulane got their doors blown off, but their fans and alumni had fun while it lasted. Isn't that what it's all about?

Yet you Georgia frickers spent all your time bashing Bama about not belonging yet we won our playoff game on the road in our opponents home stadium. Yet Texas Tech ranked #4 is about to get shutout and not have 200 yards of total offense. SOS matters...

That’s like Mendoza. He has 90% of his touchdowns against teams with losing records or FCs teams. When he played Oregon and OSU he had bad games. Even against Pedo State he was average.

I hope that trend continues today

They can't even, under the heat of the spotlight. You can't ask them to act like they've been there before when they've never been there before.

It'll be the same thing that dooms Ole Miss tonight.

The BCS would be the same teams except with Notre dame in basically

TTU was #3 or #4 in almost every metrics model (swapped with Oregon depending on model)

The issue with metrics is they are very good at predicting in-conference games, not as much OOC. Not enough OOC data points

This is why we need scheduling agreements. I would like 9 conference games, 1 OOC with each of the other P4. Playing G5 is fricking stupid

Sounds like you disagree with the validity of a SOS formula
