Youre up 8, its not like it actually threatens the outcome. Its your brothers last collegiate AB and its in one of the biggest games of both of your careers. Cant do anything but appreciate it and smile at the beauty of it

SEC gets its representative in the finals against a team whom was brought to the brink by USC and took out the ACC, BIG 12, AND SEC champs to do it. Win it damnit

The only thing that really matters in Omaha is the depth and consistency of your pitching staff. This 10-day gauntlet is so different from a regular 3-game weekend series. A lot of teams with great batting averages in the regular season end up dying there, wondering what happened.

Um we had great pitching. It’s the batting that killed us. It this game had been close we could have brought in Volchko to finish it up.

I agree, last year I didnt think we were a very good team and we cruised through the supers and omaha,for the most part. it was pretty much stress free because we had the two best pitchers in the country on the same team at that time.
