Not taking anything away from LSU. Grats on another baseball NC. But nobody complains about officiating more than LSU, and if Jay had been tossed in the first you guys would have flipped your shite. And if you had lost, you'd have blamed it on the ejection, something CC didn't do.

I said on both boards that I didn’t agree with the ejection.
That being said, Coastal was never winning this series. I'm surprised it was as close as it was.

Coastal fans in Omaha are actually shocked they lost the series. They were in a real bad mood after today's game. I told several of them that they had a great season and had a good program. None of them were nice today.
For the fans who have never made the trip, it is a blast. This was my second one and my wife's first. We both had a blast.

At the moment, I actually thought the ejection was going to benefit Coastal. It seemed they needed something or a spark or some life and maybe that was going to be it. Some kind of “us against the world and the umps” moment
But Frey’s hit and Eyanson on the hill and then the 4-spot inning put out that fire fast.
I didn’t agree with the ejection in a championship series, but all the interviews I’ve seen of Schnall it doesn’t surprise me… seems like kind of a dick. On the other hand, when Jay was told to get back in the dugout in Game1 (HBP), he immediately did so without objection and commented on it in his Game1 postgame

I'm sure it is a fun trip if your team isn't the monkey fricking a football.
LSU is asshoe.

That ejection today was the most bush league shite I've ever seen on a baseball field. I guarantee Vitello's pansy arse would not have gotten run like that in the exact same scenario.
Truly an embarrasment for the sport.

that crowd was deafening during the initial celebration and dog pile. it was 80 percent tiger fans so I guess thats no surprise, but that was as loud as it gets for college baseball

If any LSU fan thinks that ejection was justified, as much as some of you whine about officiating, then please never ever complain about Umpiring/Officiating again. If you watch the press conference, the coach was clearly correct. The umpire was way overly aggressive. And the other umpire was not bumped, he tripped on his own. It is the National Championship Game. You don’t throw the coach out of the game in the first inning. Hopefully that will be the last game that umpire ever calls in college baseball. Period.
That said, LSU was clearly the better team and earned the NC. All that above does not take away from what your team did this year, especially in the postseason. Well done and congratulations on a great year.

What are Massa Wife and Miss. State fans thinking right now?
They won NC's in Baseball, then DISAPPEARED and still can't be found.

No but a bit of common sense and little bit of the context of the game. That is all.
Or maybe the coach should've used some and shuf the f**k up. He's giving you warnings. Bitching about the call there wasn't going to change anything. If you wanted to discuss it there was a way to do it. Once you saw where it was going, shut up. The team needed him instead he allowed his emotions to get the best of him in a pressure situation.
Jay said it himself in the game press conference after the hit by pitch call. It would've been easy to argue the call, but he knew his team needed him and that they dont want you going on the field doing that. That's understanding the situation and circumstances.

If you choose to continue doing something you know you can't do after being warned not to, then you deserve what you get. Period. Yes officiating sucks, and should be addressed. But not at the expense of my team especially when they're threatening to kick me out. I'm going to shut my mouth. I'm only going to make it worse. I know my team needs me here and now.
