Sorry, but any player in the country that receives an offer like Michigan gave him should take it. It is the contract amount that is shameful.

Thank you. And the opportunity to make that while staying at home. You couldn't blame him for that. But nowadays, guys enter the portal and have an opportunity to play where they always wanted to initially.

Yep same. Graduated from there. My family still lives there as well. Known his mom for a very long time. Family goes to our church. Very respectful young man. Very proud and excited for this kid's future.

No staffers would want to frick him either

Not sure about the realtors though. But that shouldn't matter. Whatever gets the deal done.

They never should have resigned Tee Higgins. He is good but they needed that money on defense.

You right. That's the GM's fault. He could've had a discussion with Burrow about it, and offered to restructure his deal like Mahomes did with the Chiefs to make it work if he was willing, or could've simply told him it wasn't financially feasible considering they needed capital to fix the holes on defense and the OL. I get they were trying to appease Burrow, but what good does it do if you're in the same situation you've been in for the last 3+ seasons.

Geez

If you wanna win

You got to give up some of your money so I can go to other players???

Bengals have always been known for being cheap. Happened LONG before Burrow showed up. And even if he wanted certain players to get extensions, he's not the GM or the owner. They have to do whats in the best interest of the team. That OL has been garbage even when he first got there. The defense was initially ok but has definitely regressed. They've tried signing guys that never worked out and the ones that do get traded because it costs too much to keep them. It can start to weigh on a person especially someone as competitive as Burrow. It's frustrating trying to anchor a boat full of holes.

Let him go to Nebraska and freeze his huevos off and be looking for a job again in 12 months.

Being that he's played at Penn State, I'm sure he's used to it. He's from up north and probably enjoyed being back home.

Also, there's a chance that things weren't entirely "done" and didnt like it being put out there. Someone leaked it out there that it was.

Either you just don’t like the south or are coasting a bit.

Well E Rob isn't from the south. He's played and started his coaching career up north. Maybe he just missed being up there.

I feel like the word "clarity" is doing a lot here

To be fair, we don't know how the question was phrased. Probably was asked if he had some clarity on that. I mean Lane can't give him that right now. If Smith doesn't come then I see a chance of him staying. But obviously, Lane has a right to bring in his own people.

Brother was suppose to be an All American type TE.

Guess he flamed out !!!

Made the mistake of following his brother instead of going to a better team that'll help develop him.

What’s with all the Star Wars AI clips for the signees? Seems cheap and not very creative

Thought you were talking about Mizzou until I saw this part

coming from our social media dept.

Haven't seen this though so idk

Well 18 was always done by the former players until Kelly took over that. 7 is something that could be maintained but again based on what the players want. I feel it should be their decision. They're the ones playing the game. Don't understand why fans (mostly the pussy arse men on here) get so caught up in that shite.

Lol why does it pain you? Alabama had a good season with some great wins, let them enjoy it. LSU is back on track now, that's all that matters.

Because we know that if this was LSU it would be a completely different story.

Go play in traffic

just give us a month extra practice/scrimmage time and we are good.

Too much money tied up in sponsorships, revenue (for schools and cities hosting), travel etc to do that.

I think Kiffin tweeting about Baker during maybe our biggest moment in 50 years or more left a bad taste in a lot of mouths including my own.

It's his job to worry about his team and staff, not yours.
frick em. Give em hell on social media any and everywhere.

Damn I said give em hell not go to jail for kidnapping lol

It’s wild that they can’t see the difference in Kiffin not coaching Ole Miss and Sumrall coaching Tulane.

Bro…. One is an in conference rival, a permanent opponent.

Doesnt matter. It's the same problem. Just one AD choose to handle it a different way.
quote:

And guess what? He’s a big boy. He can take criticism. Yall are just being overly sensitive. Just like Ole Miss fans.

I can take criticism when it's warranted. But if you really upset about the situation in general and not a particular person, lets talk about how Sumrall and Morris did the exact same thing except their ADs didnt act like pussies and allowed the coaches to finish out the season. Get pissed at the process. Before this, everyone was so certain that either Florida was getting him or that Ole Miss was keeping him. We were never considered. Then once it happened, they then moved the goalpost saying "on well Lane really wanted the Bama job, had they fired Deboer so he had to get the next best thing". That's not what you said before so why change it now? Because they're full of shite.

And the comment “all of that in-state talent, and LSU isn’t in the playoffs……Ole Miss is”.

And thats because of coaching which is why we fired him you dumbass. Making their own point for them and too dumb to see it. No they dont care because they like to shite on anything LSU. You want a villain well, we'll be your huckleberry bitches. They don't want to frick with a pissed off LSU because we will not hesitate on making it very hard for them.
