Because it's a RPO doesn't mean the QB has to be the one running the ball. That's an added element. He could assist by getting those added yards as the field opens up for him to run. Defenses will continue to give it up because he hasn't shown he will do it. They'll take their chances in coverage because Nuss will key in on a guy (usually Lacy) who's double covered not even looking at Anderson or Green hell even the RB sometimes.

Mascona mentioned that yesterday. They're looking into acquiring another station. By the sound of it, they already have. They're making sure it's finalized before announcing.

Greg Penn literally said on Sat they prepared for Weigman to play the entire game. Wilson Alexander tweeted that. They never thought it was a possibility that Reed would play.
I get you can't take much of your practice to plan for 2 QBs even though it wouldnt have hurt to consider that possibility. Yet, there could've been at least a scouting report on Reed in case of the slightest chance he came in. That's a failure on the coaching staff.
