Fun filled fact... I know the Arkansas head swim coach from that era, used to coach my younger brother 25 years ago. Baw stepped down a few months after the incident, now coaches at uf. Never heard a whisper of the boyfriend attacking BP. I also swam with an Arkansas grad assistant from that era, never heard it from her either. I most certainly have broached the subject.

Makes perfect sense to me.
You are pretty close with this, the fiance discovered that Bobby P was thunder dicking his woman and tracked them down.
He followed them on the bike for quite some time and forced them to stop.. yelling match took place and he forced her into the car. Bobby P took off and the guy basically lost his shite and took off after him with her in the car.
The guy got caught up in the moment and basically ran Bobby off the road. They stopped, she flipped out and started screaming.. the guy got scared once he realized what he had done and left the scene.
911 was called, cops showed up and realized that the situation was messed up. They tried to cover up the fact that she as there.. or at least hide it from the press.
Basically though you are right, that's why he looks all crashed up but she didn't have anything on her. I'm really surprised the guy ended up marrying her though, after getting thunder dicked by Bobby P I don't think I could look at her anymore.

While I agree with you, I have seen it when a guy was dragged across the street taking an arse beating. Granted the was trying to crawl away and was getting dragged while on his belly.

Gotta admit a bloody faced Petrino and his BS story was surreal. Not sure we will see anything like that again. That was pure gold.
