Yea winning with 2 losses is weird but 3 or worse 4 is going to be horrible.
Like former champ teams were legendary. Having a shirt with the scores and 3-4 who cares is going to be weird

There has been a lot of inconsistent QB play in the SEC, and so many teams fortunes have been up and down. Chambliss has been the most consistently good; Manning (“Hypeman Trophy winner”) is one of the most consistently bad.
And Texas is BACK…where everyone thought they would be. Tramell Jones, Jr with an 84.2 QB Rating against the allegedly great Texas defense; meanwhile Manning stumbled to a 20.6 against Florida’s 121st ranked pass defense. If only Manning had had access to a Passing Academy before or during college, things might have been…
At least Michigan pulled the plug on Underwood. Will Texas do the same with Mannng?

Kinda cool though
It would be cooler if it were true for every other conference.
tOSU could be in trouble without Sayin for the next few weeks but Michigan is arse. Oregon, as always, is overrated. Who knows if UCLA or USC are really good.
B12 has UH, TT, BYU and UU but it's a low bar in that conference even with BYU's ND win.
ACC is a complete joke.
Right now the SEC is looking deep but no one can be labeled as "dominant".
The days of dominant teams are over.

The big ten has been beating their dicks about the 3 straight titles and saying it’s all NIL. Which is incredibly silly like schools that are busy covering up sexual abuse of minors are above paying players.
It’s really been 3 years of mid coaching in the sec and mid qb play that has broke the conference and held us back from winning and now this year we added a 9th conference game to beat the frick out of ourselves.
Ohio state and Indiana both had great qb play that lead to their titles while the sec has had Mateer, Ty Simpson (handicapped by KD), a back up gunner for UGA, Reed as our qbs in the playoffs and of course chambliss who has been consistently excellent

Hell it was weird when a 2-loss team won it.
True. 2007. Only one team in final Top 15 and all of Power 5 had less than 2 losses, and that team, Kansas, had lost its conference championship game to Missouri.

College football is becoming like the NFL. NIL is spreading the talent around.

Chambliss is elite
elite quarterbacks don't lose by 24 on the road
chambliss is good to very good. joe burrow was elite category and the SEC doesn't have anyone currently in the elite category.

Arkansas and Vandy are the two exceptions. They are undoubtedly the worst teams in the conference
You hush that with Kentucky hosting Vandy next weekend.

Kentucky kinda sucks, props to them for winning and I hope they keep winning but needing a meltdown to beat this OU team does not bode well for their future.
