The SEC needs to stay where they are, enjoy good football and watch on the side while to big50 self destructs.

The best football is in the SEC and it’s getting better, hard to stay awake for that other conference….

If the Big 10 gets 4-6 from the ACC and ties down ND either as a member or as a quasi member that plays a Big10 schedule the rest of CFB is going to playing in a different league, not just different conferences. The best football is and has been played in the SEC for a while but a 20 team big 10 with ND in the mix is a ready made pro league that won’t need anything from any other programs.

Except proof they are the best which will only be done through playing against the other conferences.

If they have 30 shitty teams and 2 good ones then the 2 will only prove they are the best of the 30.

He’ll, tcu beat michigan last year and look what happened to tcu. Adding more average teams means nothing except each team getting less money because of a watered down conference. No one is watching most of that conference’s games.

Won't need another conference but I hope the SEC joins.

Sounds like the SEC.

How can you write this after the B1G signed a record-breaking TV deal that will only go up?

Go up how? Are they giving you more money for adding worthless teams that no one will watch? The more teams the more money has to be split between more teams which means less for all. Add in travel expenses and loss of recruits because who the heck wants to fly all over the country for nothing games in different time zones.

Good luck with it, but it just seems so damn stupid. Who’s ramrodding that crap anyway?

And if you want to crown your conference champs national champions then the laughter will be universal.

The other conferences will hold the real championship game and if you don’t want to be part of it so be it but all you’ll have is the ucf mythical trophy and everyone laughing at you…..

Every SEC team except Vandy has had a 10 win season the past decade. We have more disparity than any other conference. 5 different teams have a won a natty since 08.

The B1G has one natty in that time frame. One

We continue to build the brand which we have been doing for decades. The value of the West Coast schools will only go up now that they are in the B1G.

There will only be 2 leagues that matter, that is if your leaders quit making dumb moves. If you refuse to join then you guys will get left behind sharing revenue with the Big 12 and what's left of the ACC.

All that matters to me is Ohio State has won it. I couldn't care less about the rest.

How many does Mississippi State have?

Spends pages defending conference, pretends to suddenly not care about conference.

Checks out.

You can’t fix stupid but it’s okay. Big10 pre expansion generated 850m in revenue compared to the sec 800m. Now you have 4 of the biggest west coast brands coming over. Are you actually stupid ? I’m not even trolling just curious if you can understand math and numbers. The big10 tv deal next 10 years is 7 billion. Sec is 3b. Again , are you dumb ?

Calling people names is a sign of an inferiority complex. Let me ask you a question? Let’s see how smart you really are.

Why do media outlets want college football?

What’s the 20 year outlook for College football?

What’s the 50 year outlook for College football?

Answer these questions correctly and I’ll let you know how smart you are.

What brand? Your team and michigan? That’s it and you’re adding nothing but flying time for games no one will watch.

Who wants to join up with a group that wimps out of playing a season because of a virus that other teams are making provisions to fight through in order to play. You’ll be the odd man out because you’re spineless and are adding spineless teams. Good luck with your island of misfits and the rest of us can play the games.

With or without you, you aren’t leaders, no one is following that crap league.

A lot to absorb in your posts, but the fact that big10 fans (and the other conferences) loiter, en masse, on an SEC website is all that needs to be said about who's the biggest fish in the pond. nobody who's an sec fan gives a penny's worth of a shite about big10 football to even bother googling, let alone signing up and participating in talk about big10 football.

How in the world did we end up with Big 10 fans on a SEC message board? All the shite talking and the fact that they are coming to our boards certainly means they are scared. The SEC is the premier football conference and the Big 10 can enjoy losing to SEC teams in the CFB Playoffs.

A 20- 26 Super Conference with ND in the mix will control TV and the narrative. It will be perceived as the best because everyone else will find itself getting the big 12 / pac 10 treatment and airing on lifetime at 1030 in the morning.

The game is going to a super conference that will be a league apart from everyone. That league will include 6 or so teams from the sec and 12 or so from the Big 10 if they add marquee names from the ACC. And of course ND. The big 10 is placing itself into a position to dictate terms in that league as far as tv etc. the Saturday pro league is coming. The Big 10 is merely being proactive because the SEC fired the first shot with OU and UT. What remains to be seen is if there is any vestige of the SEC left should it allow the big 10 to continue to dictate terms. On the field doesn’t matter. The changes taking place off the field are taking place and the big 10 seems to be in front of them while the sec is satisfied. That’s fine for now but could cost the top of the SEC at the end of the day.

Possibly, but the Saturday pro league that’s coming is the league SEC fans will want to follow and the proactive approach the big 10 is taking will give some of their current members an upper hand, not on the field but in the league offices where it matters in pro sports.

Just a few years ago the Big 10 managed to talk one of their members into the playoff after basically canceling its season in August and that team having played 4? Games. They’ve managed to get one in this year after it plead guilty to charges of cheating. They have shown they have the leverage NOW to dictate terms in CCB. The SEC is a better product but Americans want what is spoon fed to them. You and I may care about quality but the rest of the nation will devour a slate of big10 teams plus the pac 12 plus the ACc. I seriously doubt the SEC is happy and doing nothing behind the scenes but it seems that way.

I believe that both the SEC and BIG will survive and thrive, there’s just too much passion, interest and money in this sport. Former ACC, PAC Big12 schools not in the big two will become irrelevant, have zero chance of a natty and will essentially be relegated to G5 status.
