re: Lonn pushes Saban smoke

Lonn is an idiot that does shite for clicks. I have him blocked on X as I refuse to even accidentally click on one of his posts.

I have no doubt that LSU has gauged the interest of Saban. I have doubts that he will accept it no matter what he is offered. He does not need the money and certainly does not have to have the headaches that come with coaching a major university.

May answer the question of why Nick might entertain the idea of taking a position at LSU.

You are talking as if he actually needs to work. The man made a lot of money as a coach. If he ever gets tired of McAfee and the Gameday, he can walk away and fish the rest of his life. He would not have to do anything. Only way he ever coached at LSU is he wanted to coach again. Nothing that happens on the Gameday set will force him to do anything.

It would be quite hypocritical of Saban to even entertain a phone call from LSU after he blasted Penn State for doing the same thing to James Franklin.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Franklin made the playoff last year and was still fired this year which in my opinion, was a mistake by Penn State. LSU on the other hand has not sniffed a playoff and had his players quitting on him.

This board is littered with coaching change talk and that's it. Lots of fans here with dead seasons grasping on to the hope that their, once equivalent, counterpart loses their coach so they can finally have a win this season

LSU, Florida, Texas, South Carolina, and Auburn...it's very disappointing how pathetic your fanbases have become this season.

LSU, Florida, and Auburn - Go reflect in a mirror and realize you're not getting an elite coach. Your program is no longer what it once was.

The reality that someone is going to steal your coach is really getting to you isn't it?

Dude was clearly hurting, and he got knocked around a lot, but kept fighting.

I respect the heck out of that.

Thats it. Just a random opinion from an opposing fa

He is tough and obviously hurting but definitely not the same QB as he was last year.

drop this old tired bullshite. we literally have a team of guys offering money. managing the roster. college is more akin to the NFL than it is to past recruiting.

Money is great but relationships matter still. Head coach definitely has to be heavily involved in recruiting.

He does not like the recruiting aspect of college. Even if he did come as our head coach, he would be gone at first NFL head coaching opportunity. We need someone who wants to build the program for the long haul.

sure is a lot of talking about baseball on here in the middle of football season. who gives a shite?

I wouldn't give a shite either if my baseball team sucked....

Exactly why Saban retired. People think he would be interested in the LSU job if it came open but no way Saban gets back in to coaching in this era of college football.

Do not discount Texas or Georgia. Both will be formidable.

re: Who is your ideal OC?

Anyone but Sloan but realistically if there is a chance that BK gets run out of town, what OC would want to come work for a coach that may be on the way out the door?

Just an offshore oilfield hand.... Who are you???
I believe I read somewhere that if the SEC added teams, they can go back to the negotiating table and renegotiate it's media rights. I will have to dig to find the article but if that is true, it would align with all the talks we have been hearing of SEC expansion around 2030.
What is Mizzou fans obsession with LSU? Mizzou fans definitely have little man syndrome.
