You have no class and most Alabama fans are enjoying the winning program with some humility and you my sir are a bottom feeder and every program has one as does LSU. No. He created SEC Rant so that he could generate more page views resulting in more ad impressions, resulting in more revenue. Each page of the SEC Rant has approximately 4 ad units. This means 4 impressions per page view. The site as a whole gets 50M page views per month. This means 200M ad impressions per month. If sold at even a ridiculously low $0.25 cost per thousand impressions (CPM), then he generates $50K in revenue each month off the site.
Looks like he made the SEC Rant to benefit himself financially. For that, I salute him.

Damn... I follow LHSAA football closely partly because I like to see the future tide players when they are in high school. I live down here and have to put up with the delusion and white-knuckle hope from my LSU golf friends every year. But I never knew the general fan base was so easily provoked into a heaping stinking pile of bitter, Hillary-voter-like, foam at the mouth, on-line riot over a basically true statement.
Look corn-dogs... time to face the truth. You have averaged finishing THIRD at best in the SEC west the last 5 years. Your recruiting class this year was the lowest rated one for LSU in six years. The players that know your coaching staff best, the LHSAA ones, ran like quail, mostly to Alabama. And if you think those out of state players are going to do well inside the river-parish-culture of the LSU football team, well... when was time an out of state player carried LSU? 2007?
Quit getting mad at the messenger ... or better yet continue to blame the messenger. That might help your ability to stand the decline... but it dam sure won't help win more than 8 games next year.
