I don't really give a shite about anything before I was alive or started watching it. Football isn't any different. First year I ever watched MSU football was 1998 and I have watched ever since pretty closely. In 98 we went to the SEC Championship in football and lost to NC Tennessee. We went to the Cotton Bowl that year and got arse raped by Ricky William's Texas team. Next year we had a ridiculous come from behind win in the Egg Bowl and beat Clemson in the Peach Bowl to finish 10-2 and #12 in the country. Following year we had an insane snow bowl game vs aTm that we won. Next year we started ranked and things were looking good till 9/11 happened. Then our football program disappeared overnight and didn't get resurrected again till Mullen got here and took us all the way to #1 for 6 weeks in 2014.
