I think the Saban hire at LSU and Alabama should be flipped. Without that LSU hire, Saban may have never had the opportunity to create what he has at Alabama, more than likely not at Alabama specifically. That hire did so much for both schools.

How is Spurrier behind Fulmer?

Who honestly thought Ed Orgeron would be on that list at all? Damn. A top 10 coaching hire.

How many schools have three coaches win the NC?
I am not sure, Alabama has had 5 coaches win national titles at Alabama, and only one of them won single National Title.

How much did LSU pay them to post that list?
Call up local children's hospitals within a 100 mile radius. Whichever one has had to, and I need to be careful with my wording, let's just say will be forced to send many children away to lack of funding... Find out the $ amount of said funding, then you will have taken your first step into a much larger world..

I agree. Saban wasn't a big name when LSU hired him and he pretty much turned LSU around single handedly.
Mullen at MSU should be much higher, too.

With Miles though, while he had success, his overwhelming stubbornness caused LSU a lot more success.
And even so, won 2 conference titles. Won a BCS title plus one other BCS Bowl. 3 division titles. Runner up in 2011 after 13-0 season.
Who else in this conference should take his spot?
Jimbo Fisher?

Yet he got Texas A&M to 9-1 record and that is impressive! Plus he is on the rise and not going to go backwards and time soon!

I would drop Franklin off that list with the situation he left Vanderbilt in, maybe Spurrier too.

Think about where Vandy and Florida were when they took over. They absolutely belong on that list.
Posted on 3/31/21 at 6:57 pm to TigerLunatik
They're not talking about Spurrier at Florida, they are talking about Spurrier at South Carolina.

James Franklin?
This poll is woke!

I understand that James Franklin did some good things for the Vanderbilt program given their history, but the fifth best coaching hire since 1992? Idk about that

I didn't even bother to look at what school it referenced.
I just assumed that Spurriver at Florida would be in there and wasn't thinking about when exactly he was hired. Thanks for the correction.
