1. Saban - Alabama
2. Saban - LSU
3. Urban Meyer - Florida
4. Les Miles - LSU
5. Phillip Fulmer - Tennessee
6. Mark Richt - Georgia
7. Steve Spurrier - South Carolina
8. James Franklin - Vanderbilt
9. Tommy Tubberville - Auburn
10. Kirby Smart - Georgia

Hard to do. I’m inclined to put Orgeron on the list, but it would be nice to see another strong season from LSU. Chizik won a NC, but we know how that ended. The conference has had a lot of good coaches in the last three decades.

ETA: with Franklin and Spurrier (USC), it’s more about what they were able to do at their respective schools compared to their historical success and standards. Vanderbilt and USC are two of the toughest jobs in the conference and both programs took a nosedive after the coach left.
