You going to lie through your tooth and say ole miss wasn't hoping Jackie and State were going to get the hammer brought down and it was never obsessed over on a MB?

Why do you think a lot of State fans especially rosebowl have been gloating over this? They remember all that shite from then.

Get yo facts straight gummy.

That is like a death penalty. There's no fricking way Ole miss gets close to that.

Look at what USC got for what is arguably less.

2003 Eli was there is what I'm saying. Eli beat the hell out of State in Starkville that year. Why would OM be worried about MSU then?

Now pre-Eli when Jackie was there? That's a different story.

What? Ole miss was always concerned about Jackie. Your season did nothing to change that. I stated 2003 b/c that was the height of it.

I'm not sure ole miss fans hate Dan near that level of Jackie.

Come on man, stop being so logical. People don't like that around here. If USC can get docked 30 scholarships, Ole Miss certainly can too. If you read USC's NOA and compare it to OM's, it's hard to pick which one is more severe. I'll take a life time ban bet with anyone who believes Ole Miss will get less than 20 scholarships docked.

Still haven't gotten a single answer to my challenge. The only answers are "no way that will happen" without any reasoning behind it.

I don't know what the end result will be for OM. But when facing NCAA allegations spanning two coaching regimes and two athletic directors including academic fraud in addition to at least two other sports involved in the case, I would be inclined to believe that the NCAA is pissed. Multiple sports, multiple coaches, multiple AD's...Does an OM Compliance Department even fricking exist?

I do have to say that I have never seen a single fanbase exude the "little brother" complex more than the State fans have shown on here. Not only is nearly every thread started by State fans about the Rebears, but thanks to tRant I've discovered they even have an entire message board dedicated to their Rebearsession, as well as some nut job having lost this job due to tRebearsession. Not sure if I should say congratulations to the Ole Miss fanbase or tell them to make sure their doors remain locked at night.

If we get hammered, will any school from here on out ever cooperate in an exemplary fashion with the NCAA again?

The NCAA is made up of member institutions, it's 100% voluntary. Every member institution agrees to cooperate with the organization. The program can choose not to self-report to the NCAA and they can choose to not cooperate with an investigation...but you do that at your own risk.

Also, is there evidence at any time where the NCAA has stated that an institution didn't cooperate in an exemplary/commendable/model fashion?

Look another ole miss poster(hiding behind not showing his true team logo, which I don't blame you) yapping about non-sense. Ole miss fans love to claim state fans obsessing, little brother, yada yada yada. I bet you can go over to any ole miss board like spirit or nafoom and they're discussing how we're talking about, My bad, obsessing over them. The door swings both ways.

Not only is nearly every thread started by State fans about the Rebears

Let's look at the last 10 pages and see what threads state posters have started:

LSU = Jail Time
Has Paul Mainieri produced any...
...if MSU got rid of Simmons
This guy just asked Freeze
I found this by sheer accident... Jerious Norwood
Brandon Harris and LSU
Big 3 sports combined
Best prospect you ever saw play
Players that you have played against that went on to play in the SEC
Black Bears are getting more violations.
The best estimate for ole miss...

3 out of 11 having to deal with the hottest topic this off-season? Now go count ole miss topics started by others including your ole miss fanbase. while you're at it, count the threads started by ole miss fans taking shots at State.

Whatever makes you sleep at night.

For the record State was 2-10, fricking 2-10 and Ole Miss was playing in the Cotton Bowl. Makes perfect sense.

Really and truly, one needs not read any further. The NCAA does not treat everyone the same.

Their only penalty should be forfeiting their win over us last year. 15-0 baby.

NCAA doesn't forfeit anymore...only vacate.

You still lost. The ole miss football team could have been a front for hydra and that loss will still be there.
