Players that you have played against that went on to play in the SEC

The best I have ever played against was Dicenzo Miller. His career was cut short due to nagging injuries. I also played against Super bowl Champion and Green Bay Packer Donald Lee. Mario Haggan was the last one. All 3 played at State.

I think I'm missing one. I think Dicenzo Miller teammate played at State . I think his name is McKinley. If you want to add baseball, Josh West.

Played against Mark Dodson in HS, was unbelievable for Whitehaven and I think went to Ole Miss (don't think he's there anymore however)

He's not. Got mad he wasn't getting to do anything but return kickoffs and transferred to Memphis and then UT Martin

Just searched him up and appears that he's at Murray State now, shame because he was definitely a D-1 caliber back.

It's was before my playing days but my high school had a player that went to Ole Miss. OL Devon Coburn. I guess it would be in the early to mid 90s. You don't see that from my little school

I'm old. Probably Travis Stephens (UT RB late 90's/00). Played against him in HS playoffs. Had no clue who he was at the time. Caught him in the backfield early in first quarter for about a four yard loss and he slipped my tackle like I was a peasant asking for a dollar. As i lay on the ground I remember thinking "well, that dude's a lot better than me."
Not as a successful college career but also played againt Erik Locke (played promisingly at Bama as a freshman WR then transfered to UT - Juicy's kid). He played QB in HS. Got one great sack on him when he didn't see me but otherwise made me look slow/foolish.

Most of the guys from New Orleans back then were going to Miami. I have to think about this; but I did have Steltz on the team for a year. I was several years older.
