Proof of what the right coach and administration can do. Worst in the SEC to an outside shot of the playoffs.

Texas has only played in the SEC from the 2024 season. Their record prior to that was in the minor leagues.

Vols benefited from playing a Charmin soft schedule.

It will be interesting to see how Vandy does without Pavia. But they are definitely trending up. Vandy had two 2-10 seasons the last five years, Mississippi State had one. MSU and Arkansas both had a 9 win season during the last five seasons. Vandy likely will have one this season. Auburn and Florida have just been consistently bad.

Honestly, that does.
I had no idea it was that bad.

One of those teams racked up a bunch of wins in a conference that’s not the SEC

I read that as clemson soft schedule and it still applies.

We play bama and uga every single year. Even if our schedule was nothing but sunbelt teams aside from them its still not a soft schedule.

Very selective on that start year...

Given the stretch of events from December 2022 to present day, I will take it. It honestly felt worse than this.

That by season’s end Vandy could pass Auburn on that list.
