You seem like exactly the type of "fan" the show featured.

Seriously, anyone like this has deep issues.

No doubt. My father and I had our differences, but it never got that bad

Given the fanbases under discussion, what other stereotypes were available to them?
And there's this: Harvey would never abandon the Tide for Texas.

They really need to update it to show back to back, and 3 out of 4 to fully show BAMA's dominance.

I've never fully understood why some people typeset "Bama" in all caps. It seemed to be pretty common over on the BamaMag forums back in the day.

My fav ESPN film was about the fat guy and his possible racist uncle at Ole Miss.

They love to show that Texas born and raised sidewalk fan with the poisonous hatred of auburn, as a representative of the Tide faithful.

A much truer representative would be to replace him with the teabagger.

To be fair, the documentary wasn't intended to be a history of the rivalry; but just a snapshot of that unique period where we both won titles, Updyke, and how a tragedy only brought us together for a few months.

The only thing I hated about it was giving so much air time to Updyke.

It probably proportionally represents just how misplaced UA football is on their priority list.

I've always wondered about the all caps BAMA as well. Seems it's mostly used by those with the strongest taste for windows.

I'm in the minority, but I thought the show was ok. It entertained me and you can't really cover all that much in a 1 hour show. They hit some of the history and all in the first half hour, then the 2009-2010 time period the second half hour. I thought it was relatively well produced given their relatively limited focus.

I agree with that. And let's face it: it's not like they had to make up the more unsavory personalities involved.

Spent too much time on finebaum's show IYAM. Seems like ESPN just wanted to pump up PF's work before signing him.
